T2000 Series Low Voltage Fan Coil Thermostats
Application
IMPORTANT: Use this T2000 Series
thermostat only as an operating control. Where
failure or malfunction of the T2000 Series thermostat
could lead to personal injury or property damage to
the controlled equipment or other property,
additional precautions must be designed into the
system. Incorporate and maintain other devices such
as supervisory or alarm systems or safety or limit
controls intended to warn of, or protect against,
failure or malfunction of the T2000 Series
thermostat.
The T2000ACx (Heat-Off-Cool) and T2000ECx
(On-Off) low voltage fan coil thermostats feature local
control of High, Medium, and Low fan speeds.
The plastic enclosure features a removable cover
imprinted with either a Fahrenheit or a Celsius scale,
providing direct access to the adjustable temperature
setpoint dial and control switches. The main
thermostatic element is a gas-filled bellows that drives
an integral snap-action two-position electrical switch.
The adjustable setpoint knob sits over the element on
a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) along with two terminal
blocks and two control switches. The PCB sits on the
PCB Support, which is hinged at the bottom to the
plastic base, swinging free at the top to provide easy
access during mounting and wiring.
Typical low voltage applications are:
fan coil units
electric heaters
air handling units
T2000ACx-0C0
On the T2000ACx-0C0, switch positions HEAT, OFF,
and COOL provide separate temperature control in the
controlled space. A second switch controls the
LOW-MED-HIGH fan motor speeds.
T2000ECx-0C0
On the T2000ECx-0C0, switch positions provide ON
and OFF temperature control in the controlled space.
A second switch controls the LOW-MED-HIGH fan
motor speeds.
Installation
Install the T2000 where the occupant can read and
adjust the setpoint dial selector easily. Situate the
thermostat where the temperature is representative of
the general room conditions. Avoid installing the
T2000 near cold or warm air drafts, radiant heat, on an
outside wall, or in direct sunlight.
Parts Included
One T2000xCx-0C0 low voltage fan coil thermostat.
Mounting
Mount the T2000 Series thermostat to a
2 x 4 in. (51 x 102 mm) standard U.S. wallbox.
Follow the instructions for removing the cover and then
proceed to the Wallbox Mounting and the Wiring
sections.
Note: All T2000 Series models require two No. 6
mounting screws (not included).
Removing the Cover
To remove the cover from the base, insert a 1/8 in.
(3.2 mm) Phillips screwdriver into the retention screw
located in the center of the top of the cover. Loosen
(but do not remove) the Phillips head screw and gently
pull the cover away from the base until it is free.

Wallbox Mounting
To mount the T2000-base to the to standard
U.S. wallbox, refer to Figure 1 and Figure 2 and:
1. Depress the PCB support latch, located above the
temperature setpoint switch in the upper
right-hand corner of the PCB support, and gently
pushing downward, swing the top of the PCB
support away from the unit.
Note: The PCB support will remain attached at the
bottom of the base, providing access to the mounting
and wiring holes.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove PCB from the PCB
support. Removing the PCB from the PCB support
voids the product warranty.

2. Pull the wiring through the square hole in the
base.
3. Fasten the base to the wallbox using the two
vertical holes and two No. 6 screws (not provided)
4. Pull the wiring through the square hole in the PCB
support and gently snap the PCB support to the
PCB Support Base Latch.
5. Proceed to the Wiring section for the correct
configuration for the application and unit.
Note: The factory-calibrated T2000 thermostat
requires no field adjustment. Do not attempt
recalibration.
6. Reposition the cover and tighten the retention
screw.
Wiring
IMPORTANT: Make all wiring connections in
accordance with local, national, and regional
regulations. Do not exceed the T2000 Series
thermostat’s electrical ratings.
Model T2000ACx-0C0
Wiring terminal designations appear in Table 1. Wiring
connections for typical T2000ACx applications appear
in Figure 3 and Figure 4.
