Overview
The vertical cable organizer can be installed on all APC 4-post and 2-post racks. On all racks, the
installation procedures are the same with the exception of the number and type of fasteners used.
Number of fasteners required for 4-post racks (AR203,
and AR204):
• Eight M8 × 16mm hex head cap screws
• Eight M8 lock washers
Number of fasteners required for 2-post racks (AR200,
and AR201), and 4-post rack (AR202):
• 12 M8 × 16mm hex head cap screws
• 12 M8 lock washers
• 12 M8 flat washer
• 12 M8 hex nut

Hole patterns
The vertical cable organizer has two types of
mounting hole configurations. The type of rack
the vertical cable organizer is installed on will
determine which one you will use. Refer to the
hole alignment diagram to choose the correct hole
configuration.
Installation
1. Position the upper vertical cable organizer against the rack’s post and align the mounting holes.
2. Insert the appropriate fastener into one of the upper holes to hold the organizer in position.
3. Insert the lower cable organizer into the upper cable organizer and align the holes with the hole
in the rack.
4. Insert the fasteners in the remaining mounting holes.
5. Measure, cut, and apply the edge grommet material to the edge of the vertical cable organizer
where the upper and lower halves come together.
