Toyota Avalon is a device designed to enhance the security of your vehicle by detecting and responding to glass breakage. It works in conjunction with your vehicle's theft deterrent system, providing an additional layer of protection. Upon detecting the sound of glass tapping or breaking, it triggers a warn-away alarm, followed by a regular alarm if the noise persists or if a door or trunk is forcibly opened. It effectively deters potential intruders and alerts you to potential break-in attempts, offering peace of mind and increased vehicle security.

The G.B.S. (GLASS BREAKAGE SENSOR) provides protection for your vehicle above and beyond the entry

point monitoring performed by the TDS (Theft Deterrent System)—it “listens” for the noise made by tapping on,

or breaking of glass, and triggers alarms upon detection of these types of noise. Using a microphone designed

1. Arm the theft deterrent system.

Press the lock button on the remote control or

4. Disarm the theft deterrent system to stop the WARN

AWAY ALARM. Press the unlock button on the

remote control, or use the key to unlock a door, to

disarm the system.
