This hammer is used for shaping, texturing

or smoothing softer stones

(ie. limestone or marble).

• Use more impact to shape or remove stone.

• Use light impact to level and smooth stone,

which will result in a stippled finish.

• Check your hammer frequently for any signs

of chipping, cracking or unusual wear,

making sure they are in safe working order.

• Check your hammer handle occasional to

make sure it is sound and fits snugly into the

head. If the handle needs to be tightened,

insert another wedge into the end of the

handle or immerse the hammer head into a

bucket of water overnight to expand the

wood. This practice may cause some

harmless rusting to occur

• Do not use the hammer if there is any

question about its condition or performance.
