1) Remove mounng strap[B] from canopy[A] by unscrewing
two (2) mounng screws[D] from side of canopy. Retain
screws for re-aaching canopy to mounng strap.
2) Aach mounng strap[B] to outlet box[C] using the strap
mounng screws[F]. Mounng strap can be adjusted to suit
posion of xture.
3) Use the two (2) drywall anchors[G], one on each end of the
mounng strap, and secure with the two (2) drywall anchor
screws[E].
4) Shorten the cable[H] to the desired length by pushing up
the cable at the cable strain relief[I] unl the desired length
is achieved. To extend the cable, push up on the cable strain
relief and gently pull down on the cable unl the desired
length is achieved.
5) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. a or b).
a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a hole
and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet
box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided, aach
ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and
green ground screw, then thread into mounng strap.
If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture ground
wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector aer
following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black
or white power supply wires.
6) Make wire connecons. Reference chart below for correct
connecons and wire accordingly.

7) Raise xture to ceiling, carefully passing canopy over mounng
strap.
8) Align two (2) holes on side of canopy to two (2) holes on ends
of mounng strap.
9) Secure canopy to mounng strap using mounng screws[D]
previously removed from canopy.
