1) Remove mounng strap[B] from canopy[A] by unscrewing
two (2) mounng screws[D] from side of canopy. Retain
screws for re-aaching canopy to mounng strap.
2) Aach mounng strap[B] to outlet box[C] using the strap
mounng screws[F]. Mounng strap can be adjusted to suit
posion of xture.
3) Use the two (2) drywall anchors[G], one on each end of the
mounng strap, and secure with the two (2) drywall anchor
screws[E].
4) Shorten the cable[H] to the desired length by pushing up
the cable at the cable strain relief[I] unl the desired length
is achieved. To extend the cable, push up on the cable strain
relief and gently pull down on the cable unl the desired
length is achieved.
5) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. a or b).
a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a hole
and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet
box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided, aach
ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and
green ground screw, then thread into mounng strap.
If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture ground
wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector aer
following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black
or white power supply wires.
6) Make wire connecons. Reference chart below for correct
connecons and wire accordingly.

wire is square shaped or ridged
and the other wire will be round

7) Raise xture to ceiling, carefully passing canopy over mounng
strap.
8) Align two (2) holes on side of canopy to two (2) holes on ends
of mounng strap.
9) Secure canopy to mounng strap using mounng screws[D]
previously removed from canopy.
