Notice
1. Do not disconnect the player when it is being formatted or uploading/downloading data.
2. This product needs to be charged for at least 2 hours before usage. The charging is via
USB connection to your computer. The player can play up to 10 hours continuously upon
full charge.

Power On & Off
Turning On the power
Press Play/Pause 2 seconds to turn on.
and Play/Pause will light up.
Turning Off the power
Press Play/Pause for 5 seconds to turn the power off. All buttons indicators will be off.
Minimum System Requirements
Operating System: Windows® 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP or Macintosh™ OS 10.x
Hardware: 20MB of free disk space, 4x CD-ROM or higher, USB port
Music Operation
Playing the track (during Stop Mode or Pause Mode)
Press Play/Pause once to play. Play/Pause will blink once periodically.
Pausing the track (during play)
Press Play/Pause once to pause. Play/Pause will blink twice periodically.
Stopping the track (during play)
Press Play/Pause for 2 seconds to stop.
and Play/Pause will light up.
Volume Control
Press + or - to increase or decrease the volume level.

Track selection
Press << or >> to play next or previous file.
will blink once with each button press.
Track fast forward or rewind
Press and hold << or >> to fast forward or rewind track.
lights up until button is released.
Hold Function
Switch
switch in the direction of the arrow. All buttons will no longer function.
Battery Status
When battery low, button indication
will blink periodically. When charging battery,
button indication
will light up. When battery fully charged (USB cable still connecting),
button indication
and Play/Pause will light up.
Voice Operation
Start Recording
When player is in Stop Mode, press
to enter Recording Standby Mode. will light up.
Press
again to start recording. will blink periodically.
When finished, press
to stop recording and enter back to Recording Standby Mode.

Playback Recording
In Recording Standby Mode, press Play/Pause to play recorded sound. Play/Pause will blink
periodically.
Exit Recording Standby Mode
When player is in Record Mode, press and hold
to exit back to Stop Mode. Play/Pause
and
will light up.
Setting Equalizer
Press
during play or pause to move between the different equalizer modes. Navigate
between Normal, Rock, Jazz, Classic and Pop.

Connecting Player to Computer
1. Connect the USB port of the player to the computer using the USB cable provided.
2. Please take note if you are using Windows® 98 Second Edition, YOU MUST INSTALL
THE DRIVER PROVIDED IN THE INSTALLATION CD-ROM(OPTIONAL). You can also
download the driver from www.shirocorp.com
. For user using Window
Millenium/2000/XP, your computer will install the driver automatically.
3. You will be able to locate the player under My Computer > Removable Disk.
4. Double-click on it to open up. You can drag and drop your music files here.

Troubleshooting Guide
1. Power can’t be turned on?
Answer: Check if the Hold switch is in lock status.
2. Button isn’t functioning?
Answer: Check if the Hold switch is in lock status.
3. Trouble with downloading?
Answer: Check the USB connection. Check if there is available memory capacity for
downloading.
