Notices For Charge / Maintenance / Disposal of Battery (PTS-9800 Only)
1. Stretcher can descend and ascend ~60 times on one full charge of battery.
2. The batteries should be recharged when the LED indicator on the center electric elevation pedal under the bed
is flashing, or if the electronic operations have become abnormally slow or have stopped functioning.
3. To charge the battery, connect the charger to a wall outlet. The batteries need to be plugged in for at least
four hours to be fully charged but may be used partially charged if necessary.
4. It is recommended to keep the battery charging when the stretcher is not in use in order for the stretcher to be
fully charged and ready for use at all times.
5. Dispose of battery and stretcher according to state and local regulations. Dispose of old batteries by taking
them to a local battery recycling center; do NOT dispose of batteries in municipal trash or landfills. Do NOT
attempt to dispose of the batteries by incineration; the batteries could explode or give off toxic fumes. Note that
failure to follow the above disposal advice could incur fines from local authorities.
