CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
1. Shut off power at the circuit breaker and
remove the old fixture including the mounting
hardware.
2. Pull the black, white and ground wires out of
the post.
3. While supporting the fixture connect the
electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2. If your outlet
has a ground wire (green or bare copper),
connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. If not,
consult your electrician for proper grounding.
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)
4. After wires are connected, tuck them carefully
inside the post cup. Align the lantern with the
post and secure with screws (G).
5. Loosen the finial (A) to remove washer (B),
tube (C), metal leaf (I) and top dome (D).
Remove any plastic bag material from the
socket cluster.
6. Proceed to install the B10.5 / 3*60W bulbs (not
included) in accordance with the fixture’s
specifications. (DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM
WATTAGE RATING) (NE PAS DEPASSER LA
PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).
Replace the top dome (D) and secure with the
metal leaf (I), tube (C), washer (B) and finial
(A).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to
the junction box and test the fixture.
Note: Illustration (Fig. 1) on this manual is for
installation purposes only. It may or may not
be identical to the fixture purchased.
