Duringdehumidifyingmode:
-Removethedrainplugfromthebackoftheunit,
-Youcanalsoinstallthedrainconnector(5/8"universalfemalemender)with3/4"hose(locally
purchasedbyconsumer)forgardenhoseuse.
attachasectionofdrainhose(includedwith
thisunit)tothehole.Placetheopenendofthehosedirectlyoverthedrainareainyour
basementfloororinawatercontainer(seeFig.4&5).
Whenthewaterlevelofthebottomtrayreachesapredeterminedlevel,
andtheunitstopsoperation.Carefullymovetheunittoadrain
location,removethebottomdrainplugandletthewaterdrainaway(Fig.6).Restartthemachine

-Cleantheairfilteratleastoncetwoweekstoprevent
inferiorfanoperationbecauseofdust.

Thisunithastwofilters.Grasptheupperfiltertab(Fig.22),
pullthefilterout.Removethelowerfilterbylooseningthe
screws,takedowntheairinletgrille,thenremovetheair
filterasshowninFig.23&24.
-
Washtheairfilterbyimmersingitgentlyinwarmwater
(about40C/104F)withaneutraldetergent.Rinsethefilter
anddryitinashadyplace.
-
Inserttheupperairfilterfromupwardaftercleaning,attach
thelowerairfilterontheairinletgrille,theninstallthegrille
byusingthescrew.

-KeeptheappliancerunningonFANmodeforhalfadayin
awarmroomtodrytheapplianceinsideandpreventmold.
-Stoptheapplianceandunplugit,wrapthecordand
bundleitwiththetape(Fig.25).Removethebatteriesfrom
theremotecontroller.
-Cleantheairfilterandreinstallit.
-Disconnecttheexhausthoseandkeepitsafety.
