1. Identify the correct mounting shaft size needed for you application.
Note: If your hitch did not come with a sleeve skip this step.
(2” Receiver) Make sure large sleeve is installed on mounting shaft.
(1 ¼” Receiver) Remove large sleeve from mounting shaft.
2. Install the anti-rattle hitch stabilizer.
Note: If your hitch did not come with a stabilizer skip this step.
A. Insert the hitch step and place your hitch pin in position. Push the anti-
rattlehitchstabilizerintothehitchreceivertightlytollupthegapon
the top of the bar. Mark the exact position.
B. Remove the hitch step from your receiver. Remove the tape backing on
the anti-rattle hitch stabilizer and reposition the stabilizer 1/16” in front of
yourmarkedposition.Pressdownontheshimrmlytoensurea
secure mount.
3. Identify and align the correct mounting hole on hitch step with the factory hitch,
Apply the appropriate size hitch pin (not supplied).
Note: It is recommended that a locking hitch pin be used to prevent theft.
4. Forwiringinstallation,ndyourvehicle’s4-wayatconnector
Note: Some vehicles may require an adaptor or extension cable.
5. Once installation is complete, make sure lighting functions are
working properly.
Note: Some vehicles may require a load resistor to get the lighting function to
work properly.
