WHEN TO USE?
• DO NOT touch live carpenter bees, they can hurt you.
•
DO NOT hang in trees or bushes.
•
THE TRAP SHOULD NOT BE able to sway in the wind.
•
DO NOT paint or stain trap within 3 months of
intended use.
1) Mount, hang or set as close as possible to where the bees are
already making holes. The bees must see the trap in order for it
to work.
a) If hanging, the trap should not be able to move.
2) When jar fills up discard the bees.
a) If releasing live bees, take entire trap at least 1 mile
away and release the bees.
b) Return trap to original position.
3) If you do not have existing damage just hang, set or mount trap
on the sunniest side of the structure.
If the trap has not caught any bees within two weeks move the
trap to a new location. LOCATION is the most important factor.

below 80 degrees.
