Installation Instructions for Navigation Console
Mercedes C (W202) MY 1993 ➞ 2000
Caution!
Due to safety reasons pay attention to the
course of existing, also non-visible cables, wires
and other components which are situated in the
installation area!
The console and the components are to be
installed in such a way that for the passengers
no dangers of injury (i.e. by sharp edges)
develop.
Illustration 1:
Lift the trim on the passenger’s side with a fl at
object (e.g. plastic wedge).
Illustration 2:
Push the trim to the left.
Illustration 3:
Remove the trim and put aside.
Illustration 4:
Attach the console as shown.
Press the front sheet metal of the console (see
arrow) into the dashboard gap.
Illustration 5:
Replace the trim.
The rear sheet metal of the console (see arrow)
is clamped in together with the trim.

Attention !
Lors de la fi xation de la console (lors du perçage
et du vissage), faites attention, pour des raisons
de sécurité, au parcours de câbles ou lignes non
visibles ou d’autres composants situés dans la
zone de montage.
La console et les pièces à fi xer doivent être
installées de telle sorte qu’aucun risque de
blessures (provoquées, par exemple, par des
arrêtes coupantes) ne puisse menacer les
occupants du véhicule.
Illustration 1 :
Soulevez le cache du côté passager à l’aide d’un
objet plat (coin en plastique, etc.).
Illustration 2 :
Déplacer le cache vers la gauche.
Illustration 3 :
Retirez le cache et conservez-le en un lieu sûr.
Illustration 4 :
Placez la console comme indiqué dans
l’illustration.
Appuyez sur la tôle avant de la console (voir la
fl èche) afi n de les introduire dans la fente du
tableau de bord.
Illustration 5 :
Installez à nouveau le cache.
Serrez la tôle arrière de la console (voir la
fl èche) avec le cache.

Console installée.
