Loudspeaker Tattoos
Design connoisseurs often use "tattoos" to achieve certain
effects in their living spaces. Tips on decorating walls or
furniture with trendy decorative foils can be found in the
current issues of trendy living and design journals. One
novel idea is using tattoos to turn loudspeakers into
extravagant, high-design acoustic furniture.
ELAC's FS 247 loudspeakers are available in a high gloss
finish; starting immediately they are also being offered with
attractive decorative motifs. The foils are tissue-thin, UV-
resistant and protect against scratches or water. The motifs
have been designed for the FS 247 and are very durable.
Depending on your personal style, you can select from tone-
in-tone solutions, such as white matte motifs on high gloss
white surfaces, or anthracite-coloured foils on titanium
shadow loudspeakers. Those who prefer a high-contrast
staging can select for silver or dark grey tattoos on white
high gloss or titan shadow speakers.
And if the motifs no longer fit into your style, the tattoos can
be removed.
