1. Checking before riding
To ensure your safety, please check your e-bike as detailed below.
1.1. Use or maintain the e-bike outside the scope of use and utilization.
1.2. Check whether the brakes work. Your bike should come to an immediate stop on flat terrain.
Make sure your brakes operate sharply also on downhill slopes.
1.3. Check the condition of handlebars, tyres, cranks, pedals, saddle and other important parts. Check
if all the parts are screwed on tightly.
1.4. Check that there is no noise while riding your bike.
2. Start your e-bike
2.1. Turn on the battery, then press the “M” button for 3 seconds on the display. The LCD display will
turn on.
2.2. Re-charge your bike in good time. At the latest when there is only one bar of power left on the
display.
2.3. Choose the assistance level using the up and down buttons on your display. The motor will assist
you on your bike once you start pedalling.
2.4. There are 6 levels of assistance ( 0 to 5 ) on the display. The motor will assist you in a range from
0% to 100%.
3. Notes during riding
3.1. Frequent braking and re-accelerating will deplete the battery faster.
3.2. According to the law in Europe, the speed limit of the bike is set at 25km/h.
3.3. The motor will stop assisting once you stop pedalling.
3.4. Your e-bikes rated maximum load is 120kg incl. rider, do not overload.
4. Notes for stopping
4.1. Turn off the display or the battery in case the crank arm keeps turning while you push the bike.
The motor would start suddenly which may lead to an accident.
4.2. For your safety, please maintain and clean your e-bike regularly.
How to use the E-bike
HOW TO USE
THE E-BIKE
8
1. How to use the battery
1.1. Charging: Park the e-bike where an electric socket is available. Insert the round charging plug of
the charger into the charging hole on your e-bike frame, and then link the other side with a 100-
240V alternating current power. When the light on the charger turns red, it means it’s charging,
when it turns green, the charging is nished, the battery is fully charged.
1.2. It takes about 3-5 hours to fully charge an empty battery. When the charging is nished, unplug
the electrical plug rst, then unplug the charging plug connected to the e-bike, in that sequence.
1.3. This is a lithium battery, it has no memory effect, so you can charge or discharge anytime. In
normal circumstances, the battery can be used for more than 2 years.
2. Notes for charging
2.1. Please charge the battery in a safe place
2.2. To protect the battery, only use the original charger. Please also do not use this charger to charge
other e-bike batteries.
2.3. The charger contains a high-voltage circuit, do not dismantle it.
2.4. Please avoid any liquid and metal ling from falling into the charger. Please protect the charger
from impact, never let it drop or let drop objects onto it.
2.5. Do not cover the charger when it is charging.
2.6. Please keep and use your charger in a dry and breezy environment.
2.7. During charging, if the charger emits any smell or it becomes excessively hot, please stop
charging and send it to your dealer for inspection and repair.

9Important information
IMPORTANT
INFORMATION
01. The battery’s performance can be effected by its environment. Generally speaking, the battery’s
discharge performance is better in a higher temperature. Electric power will drop by more than
1/3 when the temperature is below 0ºC. Thus, this e-bike’s riding distance per charge will become
shorter in winter or cold areas. It returns normal / optimal when the temperature is higher than
20ºC.
02. Do not put any metal objects in the charging input or battery circuit, it may cause a short circuit
or start a re.
03. Do not dismantle or change any parts without authorization of the manufacturer. Any loss
caused by inappropriate use, misuse or dismantling can cause dangers to the rider for which
the manufacturer or dealer cannot be liable for. Remember that the e-bikes warranty can be
affected, too. In general, if you think there migh be a problem with your e-bike, please contact
your local dealer.
04. Speeding especially on downhill roads can be dangerous. Slamming brakes at high speed might
cause the bike to skid and lead to a road accident. Do not use the front brake too sharply, it can
cause you to fall forward over the handlebars and can severely hurt you.
05. Oil in the brake pad’s or rim’s surface can or will put brakes out of order. This can cause danger
and accident. Beware of this.
06. Do not hang anything on the handlebar during riding, check whether the display and light are
xed to avoid failure in operation.
07. This e-bike is t to be ridden by one person only, do not carry a passenger.
08. To protect your battery and avoid danger, do not connect the batterys positive and negative side
with one another or any conductor.
09. Do not drink and ride. Do not ride when taking medicine or when you are not feeling well.
10 Spinta Strada regular maintenance and self-checking
SPINTA STRADA REGULAR
MAINTENANCE AND SELF-CHECKING
1. Maintenance of your electric bike
1.1. Lubrication is an important part of all e-bike maintenance. Front axle, bottom bracket, cassette
sprockets, chain and shift pivot of fork need scrubbing regularly and add lubrication oil according
to your requirement.
1.2. Check the brake system regularly. If you are not sure about anything, contact your dealer. The
braking distance will increase when there’s rain or snow.
1.3. Checking the xing condition / screws of every important part regularly, if any part is loose,
please tighten it.
1.4. Clean your e-bike regularly.
2. Explanation for maintenance and cleaning
2.1. Washing your e-bike with a hose or high pressure hose is not possible, because it will cause
failure or even accidents caused by damage to electronic components and circuits. Do not rinse
the electrical parts of your e-bike, use a moist cloth only.
2.2. Please use natural detergents and use a rag to clean its surface gently, nally clean the bike with
a dry cloth.
2.3. Give your e-bike’s metal parts a cleaning nish with lubricating oil.
3. Maintenance of battery
3.1. When the e-bike is not used for a long time, you should charge it every 3 to 6 months to protect the
battery. Be careful, an empty battery can self-discharge quickly. When left alone for an unlimited
time any battery will discharge itself and cease to function and cannot be charged any more.
3.2. Clean visible rust on the metallic part of plugs or change a plug if the plug becomes hot during
charging. Lengthy heating will lead to a short circuit and damage your charger and battery.
