battery precautions
Dispose of old batteries properly. Do not dispose of old batteries in a fire.
Do not leave batteries where a young child or pet could play with or swallow
them. If the batteries are swallowed, contact a physician immediately.

may leak.

InsertIng the BatterIes
1. Turn the CLOCK BOTTOM counterclockwise and remove.
2. Remove the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER.
3. Insert three AAA batteries (not included) according to polarity
indicators inside the compartment.
4. Replace the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER.
5. Replace the CLOCK BOTTOM and turn it clockwise to tighten.

1. Remove the CLOCK BOTTOM and slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the
“On” position.
2. Press MODE until the Time screen displays. The blue LED backlight
illuminates for approximately four seconds.
3. Press and hold SET. The hour blinks on the display.

VIewIng the temperature
Slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the On position and press MODE until
the Temperature screen displays. The red LED backlight illuminates for
approximately four seconds.

changIng the modes on the dIsplay
There are two ways to change between modes:
Slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the On position and press MODE until

repeatedly until the desired mode displays.
Note: It takes approximately one second for the sensor to reset
between modes.

To lock the modes so they cannot be changed accidentally,
slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the On position.
resettIng the clocK
Reset the clock if you want to clear all clock functions.
To reset the clock, insert a thin pointed object into RESET.
