The bike is easiest to assemble with two people.
Assemble the bike in the room where it will be used. It is portable, but it is a large
item to move from room to room or up and down stairs.
Lay out all the components of the bike before assembling. Read through these
instructions and make sure all parts are accounted for, and that you have all the nuts,
bolts and washers described on the Included Parts and Parts Package Contents pages.
When tightening screws, nuts and bolts, finger-tighten first, then use the appropriate
tool to tighten, taking turns with each until all are secure.
asseMblY
Attach the FRONT STABILIZER BAR to the BASE by placing it under the bracket
with the wheels towards the front of the bike, ensuring the bolt holes line up, and
inserting the 2 BOLTS (4) with their LOCKING WASHERS (6), FLAT WASHERS (5)
and NUTS (7).
Mount the REAR STABILIZER BAR to the BASE by sliding the REAR STABILIZER
BAR into the bracket on the BASE and attaching it with 4 SCREWS (10), LOCKING
WASHERS (6) and FLAT WASHERS (5).
Install the FRONT POST on the BASE by first sliding the FRONT POST COLLAR
onto the FRONT POST.
Then, connect both the RESISTANCE CABLE (see the following illustrations) and
the MONITOR WIRE from the BASE to the wire in the FRONT POST and push
them both inside the post.
With the FRONT POST COLLAR held out of the
way, secure the FRONT POST with 4 SCREWS
(10) and their LOCKING WASHERS (6) and
FLAT WASHERS (5), then slide the FRONT POST
COLLAR down to sit on the BASE.

Attach the SEAT to the SADDLE POST by tightening the bolts (already mounted
on the seat).
Slide the SEAT POST, with the SEAT front facing forward, down into the base. Insert
and twist the SEAT ADJUSTING KNOB (21) to lock the SEAT POST into position
at the correct height for you. You may also adjust the distance of the seat from the
HANDLEBARS with the pre-mounted knob under the SEAT.
IMPORTANT: Do not try to use the SEAT POST in a position in which the green band is above
the base. The green band is a marker to let you know the seat is at its highest position.
Attach the HANDLEBAR to the FRONT POST with the PULSE PADS facing up using
the HANDLEBAR ADJUSTER (30) and FLAT WASHER (5). Make sure to hold onto the
HANDLEBARS as they may shift while you tighten the screw. Plug the HAND-PULSE
WIRE into the jack on the back of the MONITOR.
Remove the pre-mounted screws on the back of the MONITOR. Attach the MONITOR
WIRES to the wire in the FRONT POST, and tuck them down in the post, ensuring the
PULSE PAD wire runs through the indent on the bottom of the MONITOR. Tighten these
screws with the included screwdriver.
Install the FOOT STRAPS on the 2 PEDALS, positioning the side of the strap with
the multiple holes on the outside, for adjustment. The PEDALS are marked with L
and R for left and right.
Insert the right PEDAL into the right POST on the BASE and tighten by turning it
clockwise. The thread on the PEDAL should not be visible. Do the same for the left
PEDAL. However, turn it counterclockwise to tighten. Finish by tightening both
PEDALS to the posts, in the right direction as explained above, with the
included wrench.

Q: I have an error message on my screen. What does this mean and what do I do?
A: If you encounter an error on the MONITOR, check the connection of the wires
in the FRONT POST and in the back of the MONITOR.
Q: The console does not display distance, speed or calories.
A: Check the connection of the wires in the FRONT POST and in the back

Q: My new bike squeaks, is this normal?
A: This is not normal. Review the following list for solutions.
• Check that all nuts and bolts are secure but not overtightened (it may be
worth loosening slightly if noise seems to be coming from a specific area).
• Check that all washers are fitted and in the correct position.
• Lubricate all moving parts with either white grease or WD40 (white grease
is the best option as it is thicker).
• Ensure front and rear stabilizers are attached correctly.
• Ensure the front upright post is locked in position with no movement.
Make sure all bolts are tight.
• Check that the pedals are secure.
Q: I can’t seem to attach the left pedal.
A: Be aware the left pedal has a reverse thread and to screw it in the opposite
direction from the right pedal.
Q: Which stabilizer has the wheels, the front or the back?
A: The wheels are on the front stabilizer. This is for moving your machine
around easily.
