Thank you for selecting our Oregon Scientic
TM
wireless thermometer product with remote thermo
sensor. In addition, it is also carried out the changeable
display between indoor and outdoor temperatures.
NOTE
Please keep this manual handy as you use
your new product. It contains practical step-by-step
instructions, as well as technical specications and
warnings you should know about.

GETTING STARTED
IMPORTANT
Set up the remote outdoor sensor rst
before setting the main unit.
REMOTE SENSOR – SET UP
The main unit can collect data from up to 3 sensors.

To set up the sensor:
1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Insert the battery, matching the polarities.
3. Select a channel then press
RESET.
4. Return the battery compartment cover.
5. Place the sensor within 30 m (98 ft) of the main unit
using the table stand or wall mount.

Ideal placements for the sensor would be in any
location on the exterior of the home at a height of not
more than 1.5 m (5 ft) and which can shield it from direct
sunlight or wet conditions for an accurate reading.
NOTE
Press RESET after each battery change or
channel selection.
Use alkaline batteries for longer usage and
consumer grade lithium batteries in temperatures
below freezing.
MAIN UNIT – INSERT BATTERIES
You need to install batteries before using the main unit.
1. Remove the battery compartment.
2. Insert the batteries, matching the polarities.
3. Press
RESET after each battery change.
4. Align the cover at against the battery
compartment, and then slide it upwards until it
clicks into place to lock the cover.

MAIN UNIT – CHANGEABLE DISPLAY
You can interchangeably adjust the indoor and
outdoor temperature display area by sweeping the
area on the main unit.

SENSOR DATA TRANSMISSION
To manually search outdoor sensor:
Press and hold MODE and at the same time.
The reception icon of the outdoor temperature shows
the status as follows,
ICON DESCRIPTION
Main unit is searching for
sensor(s).
A channel has been found.
The sensor cannot be found.
The transmission range may vary depending
on many factors. You may need to experiment with
various locations to get the best results.
MANUALLY SET CLOCK
To set the clock manually:
1. Press and hold MODE.
2. Press
or to change the settings. You can press
and hold these buttons to rapidly set the values.
3. Press
MODE to conrm.
4. The settings sequence is 12/24 hr format, hour,
minute, year (Y), calendar mode (day (D) – month
(M) / month (M) – day (D)), month, day and
weekday language.
NOTE
The language options are E (English), F
(French), D (German), I (Italy) and S (Spanish).
To select display mode:
Press MODE to choose between clock with seconds,
clock with weekday or calendar.
TEMPERATURE
To select the temperature display unit:
Press the °C / °F button to select the desired unit.
To toggle between each outdoor sensor’s readings:
Press CH repeatedly.
OR
Press and hold MEM and for 2 seconds to initiate
auto-toggling of outdoor channels.
OR
To end press .
To toggle between current, minimum and
maximum records:
Press MEM repeatedly.
To clear the records:
Press and hold MEM.

ICE ALERT (CHANNEL 1 ONLY)
If the temperature falls between 2°C to - 3°C (35.6°F
to 26.6°F), the green ice alert LED
indicator will
ash every 7 seconds, and will stop ashing once the
temperature is out of this range.
To make the ice alert snooze:
If you see the ice alert LED indicator ashing but
want to snooze the indicator for a while, press / ICE.
The snooze lasts for 30 minutes, and then the LED
indicator starts ashing again. on the screen stops
ashing and becomes steady.
To turn off the ice alert indicator:
Press and hold / ICE. The LED indicator and
on the screen are both off.

RESET
To return to the default settings, use a thin blunt object
to press RESET (in the battery compartment).
PRECAUTIONS
Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock,
dust, temperature or humidity.
Do not cover the ventilation holes with any items
such as newspapers, curtains etc.
Do not immerse the unit in water. If you spill liquid
over it, dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Do not clean the unit with abrasive or
corrosive materials.
Do not scratch hard objects against the LCD
display as this may cause damage.
Do not tamper with the unit’s internal components.
This invalidates the warranty.
Only use fresh batteries. Do not mix new and
old batteries.
Images shown in this manual may differ from the
actual display.
When disposing of this product, ensure it is
collected separately for special treatment.
Placement of this product on certain types of
wood may result in damage to its nish for which
we will not be responsible. Consult the furniture
manufacturer’s care instructions for information.
