INSTALL THE TOP OF THE SHOCK BY
FOLLOWING THE QUICK START GUIDE.
ENSURE THE SHAFT IS EXTENDED OUT
ALL THE WAY.
INSTALL THE LOWER EYELET BY
FOLLOWING THE QUICK START GUIDE.
ADJUST THE MODE BY ROTATING THE
SHAFT 360°.
SOFT/COLD
ROTATE 360°
PERFORMANCE
ROTATE 360°
ROTATE THE EYELET IN THE SAME
DIRECTION TO ALIGN WITH LOWER
SHOCK MOUNT.
ROTATING IN THE OPOSITE DIRECTION
WILL CAUSE THE MODE TO SWITCH.
MODE ADJUST SHOCKS give the choice of setting the FALCON
SHOCKS base tuning to PERFORMANCE or SOFT/COLD. This
choice is made during installation but can be changed later if
so desired.
The shocks feature an internal bypass valve that is adjusted by
rotating the shaft only when the shock is fully extended.
Piggyback Shocks that feature the FAST ADJUST KNOB or other
cartridge adjustor, will still give the full range of adjustability
in either mode.
When rotating the shaft, it is easy to feel when the mode
switches. Rotating the shaft at least 360° in one direction
guarantees the shock will be in the correct mode.
SP2 MODE ADJUST SHOCKS
PERFORMANCE - Stability inspired tuning for better
handling off-road.
SOFT/COLD - Softer tuning for more compliance over harsh
roads.
Use this mode when the temperature drops below 40° F (5° C).
