PREPARATION
Fully construct the marbling pot.
Fill the marbling pot up to the top line with
COLD TAP water and place on a flat even
surface.
Using the masking tape supplied, mask off
the nails on one hand as illustrated. You may
find it helpful to cut the tape into small lengths
in advance and fold one of the ends over so
that it is easy to find on removal.
Apply 2-in-1 base coat to each nail. Allow to
dry for 5 minutes - this will help protect the
nails from staining.
Apply a thin layer of your own white polish to
each nail. Allow to dry for 10 minutes.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!
When first getting used to the marbling technique,
work through the application steps using the
PRACTICE NAILS INCLUDED
you’ll soon have perfect results everytime.
BEFORE YOU START
We advise that you watch the step-by-step DVD and leave
yourself plenty of time for application until you are confident with
the process. You may need to practice a few times to fully master
the marbling technique.
Your treatment area should be well ventilated with a flat protected
surface. Any spilled polish will be difficult to remove from clothes,
furniture and carpets.
Ensure that your nails are clean, dry and grease free.
Marble Nail Art polish can be applied to both natural nails and
nail extensions. NOTE: To avoid damaging nail extensions,
remove marble polish with an acetone free polish remover.

slightly thinner in consistency to normal

APPLICATION
Follow each of these steps carefully and thoroughly.
We suggest you work on one hand at a time and have the
DESIGNCHARTclosetohand.
Select at least 2 colours that you would
like to use and loosen bottle lids ready
for application, this will help you to work
quickly. You can use all 5 colours if you wish,
depending on the design you would like to
achieve.
Check the water is still COLD. Drop a bead of
polish onto the surface of the water - you can
touch the surface of the water with the tip of the
brush to encourage the polish off the brush.
If the water is the correct temperature, the
droplet will spread out on the surface of
the water.
Immediately drop another bead of polish into
the centre of the previous drop and allow it to
spread.
When 4 rings are formed, anchor the outer
ring of polish to the sides of the marbling pot
using the finest end of the design pen. This
will increase your design area.
Continue to drop the polish onto the surface
of the water, alternating between colours to
gradually build up the rings, allowing each
drop of polish to disperse.

if the water is TOO WARM then the
marble nail art polishes WILL NOT

APPLICATION CONTINUED
Using the finest end of the design pen, drag
your chosen design into the surface of the
water.
Once you have completed drawing your
design, wait 15 seconds.
Place your masked finger nail parallel to the
surface of the water, and slowly submerge the
nail, until it is
FULLYunder the waters surface.
HOLD the finger nail FULLY under the water
for 10 seconds, then remove ALL access
polish from the surface of the water using an
orange stick.
Remove your nail from the water to reveal your
design!
NOTE: When you are used to the marbling
technique, you will be able to submerge
2-3 nails at the same time, making the
application process much quicker.
Repeat steps 2-10 until all nails are completed.
Once all nails are complete, remove masking
tape and neaten up the edges using acetone
solution on a cotton bud.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED
The marble nail art polish sinks to the bottom of the bowl.
You are dropping the bead of polish too high from the surface
of the water. Make sure you are no more than 1cm away from the
surface.
The marble nail art polish is NOT spreading out on the water.
The water may be too warm. Ensure the water is cold at all times.
Ensure ALL remanence of polish from previous applications are
removed from the waters surface using a piece of paper towel. You
may also find it useful to refresh the water between applications.
In most cases tap water will work well, however, if you are
experiencing problems try using some filtered water.
The marble nail art polish collects up when I try to draw my
design.
Avoid the very outer rings of polish when drawing your designs.
The outer rings dry quickly and form a skin which you cannot drag
designs through.
You are not working quickly enough. The polish still needs to be
wet in order to draw the designs.
The water may be too warm.
Why are there small bubbles on my nails after applying the
design.
Ensure you submerge your nails SLOWLY into the water.
Submerging them quickly will result in air getting trapped.
Why are my nail designs blurry and smudged?
You may have used too much polish or created too many rings.
Do not apply more than 10 rings of polish for best results.
Make sure you wait 15 seconds before placing your nails into the
design.
What should I do if small droplets of water are on my designs?
Blow on your nail as soon as you have removed it from the water
to remove water droplets.
Can I use any nail polish for this technique?
No, marble nail art polish has a higher pigmentation and thinner
consistency than normal polish.
DISPOSAL
Do NOT dispose of nail polish down the sink. ALWAYS remove
polish from equipment and water surface using kitchen towel,
then dispose of in household waste.
