INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Plug the unit into an outlet, clear from any obstructions that might limit the area
of detection. NOTE: This unit has a built-in photo cell which disables the unit
during daylight hours (or in any environment that has bright light). When selecting
an outlet, be sure that the unit will not be exposed to bright light during the time in
which you want the unit to operate. When plugged in, the red LED indicator light
on the front of the unit will come on to confirm that the unit has power.
2. When initially plugged in, the light will turn on and stay on for approximately 40
seconds (warm-up period). During this time, the unit will not respond to motion.
After 40 seconds, the light will flash three times to confirm that it is now in the
mode to detect motion. Remember: The unit will only respond to motion at night,
or when the unit is in a dark area.
3. Test the unit This unit has approximately a 90° area of detection. Walk towards
the unit until the light comes on. NOTE: The light is more sensitive when motion
is moving across the front (side to side), as opposed to straight towards the unit.
The light will turn off 90 seconds after all motion stops.
