About Multi-Screen Modes
1. Select channel to output from [1:PGM]
Use the INPUT selector on the PGM side to select a channel to output from [1:PGM] connectors. The selected button lights up in
green. Output of the selected channel does not start at this point.
2. Select channel to output from [2]
Use the INPUT selector on the PST/EFFECT side to select a channel to output from [2] connectors. The selected button lights up in
green. Output of the selected channel does not start at this point.
* When you preview sources on the built-in monitor, control monitor display mode as below.
• PGM 1:PGM
• PVW 2
• AUX Standby picture (button lit in green)
3. Start dual output
Press the [TAKE] button or move the video fader to start dual output. The buttons selected on PGM side and PST/EFFECT side
change to red.
4. Selecting the next channel
If you select a channel other than the channels currently output with PGM or PST/EFFECT, the newly selected channel will go into
standby status. At this stage, the button of the newly selected channel lights up or blinks green. You can preview the source of
the green lit channel on the built-in monitor if you select [AUX].
When you want to preview picture on an external monitor, connect a display to the RGB/COMPONENT OUT connector or the SD OUT connector
(Composite/S-Video).
If you want to switch the picture on one screen only, press the same INPUT selector button for the one you do not want to change (as opposed to
selecting a different channel as described in step 4). When you press the same button, the INPUT selector blinks in green. Operating the [TAKE]
button or the video fader will then only switch the display that has a different channel selected.
