Alaris™ CC Syringe Pump and the Alaris™ CC Guardrails Syringe Pump.
Auto Set Pressure (If enabled)
If the Auto Set Pressure Option is enabled then the pump automatically adjusts the
pressure occlusion limit.
After 15 minutes of infusion the pump automatically adjusts the occlusion pressure
limit to X mmHg above the average infusion pressure, taken from the average of the last
five minutes of infusion.
The pressure adjusted, X, which takes the AUTO OFFSET value configured and scales it
dependent on the average infusion pressure.
At pressures up to 100mmHg the AUTO OFFSET value is added. From this pressure to
above, the alarm level is set to whatever the AUTO OFFSET value is as a percentage
above the average infusion pressure up to the maximum pressure of 1000mmHg.

Pole Clamp Installation
ü
Top edge
Recess
Ensure the pole clamp is not protruding
above the top edge of the pump and is
not bent. If bent or damaged contact your
local BD representative for
a replacement part, if required.
Check the pole clamp is in the
folded position and is stored
in the recess, beneath the top
edge of the pump, when the pole
clamp is not in use.
The pole clamp is fitted to the rear of the pump and will provide secure fixing to
vertical I.V. poles of a diameter between 15 and 40 mm.
*
*
1. Pull the folded pole clamp down and
unscrew the clamp to leave enough room
for the size of the pole.
2. Place pump around pole and tighten
screw until the clamp is secured to
the pole.
