Description of the remote control1
Manual remote control with radio transmitter to control
underfl oor heating with 24 V AC receiver
This remote control unit is particularly easy to install. Thanks to its
ergonomic and innovative design, it will enable you to save energy as
well as providing comfortable operation. This device is used to control
the mode for one zone within your installation - or also for the whole
installation - from a central point. Two or more units can be installed
in the same building so that the heating plant can be divided into
specifi ed zones.
Where should you position the remote control?2
You do best to position the remote control unit close to the entrance
door, allowing you to select the mode for the entire installation with
one simple manual action (Auto, Comfort, Eco, Frost Protection or
Climate). You can also install several units and divide your home into
various zones (night or day zones, etc.)
Fixing the remote control3

Installation with programmable radio
remote control (LXT340): the installation
operates according to the selected
programme.
Installation without remote control
(LXT340): the installation operates
continuously in Reduced mode.
Comfort mode
Continuous comfort mode, control according
to the settings of the remote control units in
the individual rooms, e.g. 20 °C.
Reduced mode
(eco)
Continuous reduced mode, control according
to the settings of the thermostats in the
individual rooms minus 3.5 °C. (Example: if
Comfort = 20.5 °C, then Eco is 20.5 °C - 3.5
°C = 17 °C). This mode lets you reduce the
temperature without having to change the
setpoint for Comfort mode.
Frost protection
Control according to a fi xed setpoint (8 °C).
This mode offers protection against frost
damage during lengthy absences in winter.
Climate
Climate control (e.g. underfl oor heating or
cooling) according to the settings of the
remote control units in the individual rooms,
e.g. 23 °C.
