ESAB Heliarc HW-25 Flexible Head Torch is a water-cooled hand welding torch designed for inert gas shielded tungsten arc (Tig) welding. It can be used with high frequency stabilized alternating current (ACHF) or straight polarity direct current (DCSP) welding power at currents up to 200 amperes continuous duty. The HW-25 uses the same collets, collet bodies, and gas cups as the HW-20 torch. The torch head on the HW-25 can be universally adjusted with respect to the torch handle by simply bending the neck section. The flexible neck section consists of a group of copper wires encased in a steel spring, The copper wires transport the argon and current from the water jacket section to the front body. The wire and spring are enclosed in a molded silicone rubber insulator sleeve.
