1) TO REMOVE THE COVER UNSCREW THE 4 SCREWS ON THE REAR, PULL THE COVER TOWARDS YOU AND LIFT IT UP.
2) TO REMOVE THE CONTROL PANEL UNSCREW THE SCREWS AT EACH END AND THE SCREWS THAT ANCHOR
4) TO REMOVE A KEY INSERT A SCREWDRIVER OR OTHER SIMILAR OBJECT IN THE SPLIT AT THE KEY BACK, APPLY A LIGHT PRESSURE AND PUSH IN THE DIRECTION SHOWN.

NOTE: BEFORE YOU REMOVE A NATURAL KEY YOU MUST REMOVE THE KEYBOARD, TO REMOVE A SHARP KEY BEFORE YOU MUST REMOVE THE NEAR NATURAL KEYS.
4) TO REMOVE A KEY BEFORE REMOVE THE KEY RETURN SPRING, INSERT A SCREWDRIVER OR OTHER SIMILAR OBJECT IN THE SPLIT AT THE KEY BACK,

RP60 TEST PROCEDURE (761194 Cpu board)
This procedure are not intended to repair a fault but only to check the proper
instrument operations after a repairing execution. The procedures that follow must
be executed in the order specified.
Instrument and Tools
1) Dual trace oscilloscope.
2) Sinusoidal signal generator.
3) Digital Multimeter.
4) Midi cable.
5) N.1 stereo jack plug.
6) N.2 mono jack plug.
Setup
l Connect the stereo jack to the PHONES 2 output.
l Connect the mono jack to the LEFT and RIGHT OUTPUTS.
l Check jumper positions: for RP60 none must be shorted.
Supplies Check
l Check with the Multimeter the following voltages on Power Amplifier & Supply
Board:
CN7 pin1-2 = 32±5Vac
CN8 pin1-2 = 26±4Vac
CN6 pin1-6 = -12Vdc
CN6 pin2-6 = +12Vdc
CN11 pin4-6 = +5Vdc
Memory and System Reset
l To Re-set the instrument press the two SOUND/DATA buttons while holding
pressed the GRAND PIANO button.
This operation clear all data in memory.
Speakers Check
l Press and hold A6 note key and then SOUND/DATA UP button: Playing a
note (OBOE preset) it must be heard from right speaker.
l Press and hold G6 note key and then SOUND/DATA UP button: Playing a
note (OBOE preset) it must be heard from left speaker.
Right & Left Output Levels Check
Check the levels as follow:
l Connect the two traces of the oscilloscope to the tip and ring contacts and
the ground clip to the sleeve of the stereo jack plugged into PHONES 2,
set it at 2ms/div. 5V/div.
l Set the Volume at Max.
l Press and hold B6 note key and then SOUND/DATA UP button: Play the C5
note (OBOE preset) with the maximum dynamic, the note must be heard
from each speaker without distortions or oscillations, the level displayed on
the oscilloscope screen must be 22Vpp±1Vpp.
l Connect the first trace of the oscilloscope to the tip and sleeve contacts of
the mono jack plugged into RIGHT OUTPUT, set it at 2ms/div. 0.2V/div.
l Connect the other trace of the oscilloscope to the tip and sleeve contacts
of the stereo jack plugged into LEFT OUTPUT, set it at 2ms/div. 0.2V/div.
l Move the stereo jack from PHONES 2 to PHONES 1.
l Press and hold B6 note key and then SOUND/DATA UP button: Play the C5
note (OBOE preset) with the maximum dynamic, the level displayed on the
oscilloscope screen must be 1.6Vpp±0.1Vpp.
Right & Left Inputs Levels Check
Check the levels as follow:
l Set the sinusoidal generator at 1KHz 400mVpp.
l Connect the generator to the RIGHT INPUT.
l Set the oscilloscope at 2ms/div. 0.1V/div.
l A sinusoidal signal of 620±50mVpp must be showed on the scope screen.
l Also check the LEFT INPUT.
Pedals Check
l Plug in the switch pedals to the PEDALS DIN socket, press down the DAMPER
pedal (right) and then press a note key: the instrument plays the note,
release the note key and the sound holds on, release the pedal and the
sound shuts off.
l Press a note key while pressing the SOFT pedal (left) the sound is more
soft.
Midi In/Out Check
l Set the Local Off pressing and holding B7 note key and then SOUND/DATA
DOWN button.
l Playing some notes you do not hear sound, connect the midi cable between
MIDI IN and OUT sockets, play again and now the instrument sound.
l Restore the Local On pressing and holding B7 note key and then SOUND/
DATA UP button.
Reliability Check
Before reassembling the instrument and before deliver it to the user, it is a
goal verify its reliability:
To do that switch it off, or leaving it switched on but operating with greatest
caution, carefully shake the boards and connections inside it using an insulated
tool (for example the handle of the screwdriver) to find wrong contacts and
so on.
Turn on the instrument and verify that it operates correctly.
Start the Demo pressing SOUND/DATA DOWN and SOUND/DATA UP simultaneously,
finally leave it switched on for a long time verifing its functionality occasionnally.
RP80 TEST PROCEDURE (761201 Cpu Board)
This procedure are not intended to repair a fault but only to check the proper
instrument operations after a repairing execution. The procedures that follow must
be executed in the order specified.

The 1st version of RP60 and RP70 models are recognizable from the
consolette built with a crossbar that strengthens the legs assembly,while the
2nd and 3rd version has a back panel that strengthens the same structure, at
last the 3rd version has a different cabinet cover panel and relative music
stand.
The 1st version of RP70/C and RP80 differs from 2nd only from the cabinet
cover panel and relative music stand.
