SPECIAL SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS
Do not place you toaster under wall-mounted
cabinets, shelves, etc. or close to the walls.
Some parts of the toaster get hot during op-
eration. To avoid burning yourself, do not touch
the hot surfaces. Before moving the toaster to
another location, unplug and let it cool down.
Keep your toaster clean; do not let foreign objects get through
the openings, because it may result in electric shock, fire or
damage to the toaster.
If operating the toaster within reach of children or disabled
persons, you should always keep it under your attention and
control.
Only operate your toaster on a flat, dry horizontal surface.
Connect your toaster to the electric mains with protective
earthing. If your wall socket does not have the earthing pin,
please call a certified electrician. Do not try to alter the plug by
yourself; do not use any adaptors.
WARNING! Connecting to electric mains without earthing
may result in electric shock.
If you need to use an extension cord, use only the one that is
designed for no less than 15 A current and is equipped with
protective earthing. Arrange the extension cord in such a way
as to prevent an accidental touching or stepping on.
WARNING! Using an extension cord designed for less
current may result in fire.
Bread is flammable; so do not operate your toaster near or
under curtains or other flammable objects or materials.
Do not operate your toaster in the immediate vicinity of electric
wall sockets.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

dry out.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place your toaster upon a dry, smooth and
plain horizontal surface.
2. Plug in to the electric mains with the same
voltage as indicated on the toaster case. The
“On” indicator (4) will light. In a couple of
minutes the green “Ready” indicator (5) will
light, which means that your toaster is ready
for use.
3. When toaster is ready, open it, oil the panels (6) with marga-
rine or other cooking fat, and place a slice of bread on the
lower panel. Use slices of square shape with 1 cm thickness.
4. Place stuffing upon the first slice of bread and cover it with
another one. It is recommended to butter the upper surface of
the second slice to avoid it burning.
5. Carefully lower the toaster lid pushing it lightly, and fix the
latch (3). If you should use too much force to close the toaster,
then your sandwich is too thick. Use less stuffing or thinner
slices of bread.
6. Your sandwich will be ready in 2-3 minutes. Open your sand-

(or heat-resisting plastic) spatula. To avoid damaging the non-
stick coating, never use metallic objects (fork, knife) or any
other sharp objects.
7. If your sandwich is not brown enough, repeat the operation
once again. Watch the toaster closely to avoid bread burning.
8. To switch the toaster off just unplug.

wet cloth or sponge. Do not clean panels with hard materials
(metallic sponge, abrasive materials, etc.) or you will damage the
surface.
WARNING! Do not wash the panels under running water,

because it may lead to an electric fault in the toaster
wiring. If water got under the panels, set the toaster
