CONTROL PANEL

On the control panel, are the following symbols:
Position 0 tap closed
Large flame maximum opening/delivery
Small flame minimum opening/reduced delivery
To light one of the burners, press and turn the
relevant knob anticlockwise to the large flame
position.
At the same time press the electric ignition button
until the burner ignites.
Once the burner is lit, keep the knob pressed for
about 10 seconds.
Release the knob.
If the knob does not ignite, repeat the operation.
The burner safety system serves to prevent the
emission of gas if the flame should be extinguished
accidentally (draughts, interruptions in gas supply,
dousing with liquids, etc.).

Oven light
DEFROST FUNCTION
Ideal for thawing frozen foods to room temperature.
- The food should be inserted in the oven in its
wrapping to prevent it from drying out.
STATIC FUNCTION
Use when all the food is on the same runner level.
- Preheat the oven to the required cooking
temperature and place the food inside as soon as
the red thermostat indicator light switches off.
FAN FUNCTION
Use this function when cooking food on more than one
level (e.g.: fish, vegetables, pasta).
- Choose foods that require the same cooking
temperature.
- Oven preheating is not necessary.
- Remove the cooked dish and, if necessary, continue
cooking the other one for as long as required.
GRILL FUNCTION
Use the grill function to grill meats or vegetables and
for making toast.
- The oven door must be opened during the cooking
cycle.
- Position the heat shield to protect knobs.
- Preheat the grill for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the meat on the grid with the drip tray
underneath. Pour water in the drip tray to cover the
bottom thus reducing smoke and fat spatters.
- Turn over the food about half-way through cooking
time.
EXTRA GRILL FUNCTION
Use this function to grill sausages, entrecotes, fish
and vegetables.
Grill with the oven door half open.
GRILL + FAN FUNCTION
Ideal for large joints, pork, chicken and roast beef.
- The oven door must be closed during the cooking
cycle.
- Place the meat on the grid with the drip tray
underneath. Pour water in the drip tray to cover the
bottom thus reducing smoke and fat spatters.
- Turn over the meat about half-way through cooking
time.
HEAT MAINTENANCE FUNCTION
Use this function to keep food warm.
Turn the thermostat control knob to 60°C.
- Turn the function selector knob to the desired
position.
- Turn the oven thermostat control knob to the
desired temperature.
To switch the oven off:
- Turn the function selector knob to position 0.
- Turn the oven thermostat control knob to position 0.

PROGRAMMER WITH NUMERICAL CLOCK
FUNCTIONS
Length of cooking time, end of cooking, manual
position, clock, timer, time programmable up to 23
hours and 59 minutes.
DISPLAY
Fluorescent 4 digit 7 segment display to show the time
and cooking time.
The corresponding symbol lights up to show the
functions selected.
Programming is by touching the button of the function
required. Release the button and set the time using
the
+
and
buttons in 5 second steps.
+
AND
BUTTON
Push the
+
and
buttons to increase or decrease the
time. The speed with which the time changes depends
on how hard the button is pressed.
PROGRAMMING THE TIME
Pressing the length of cooking and end of cooking
time buttons simultaneously, set the time required with
the
+
and
buttons. This operation cancels previously
saved programs and the contacts are switched off.
MANUAL OPERATION
On pressing the manual button, the relay contacts are
switched on, the auto symbol goes out and the pan
symbol lights up. Manual operation is only possible at
the end of automatic programming or after cancelling
it.
AUTOMATIC OPERATION
On pressing the length of cooking or end of cooking
buttons the programmer automatically switches from
manual mode to automatic mode.
SEMI-AUTOMATIC OPERATION WITH LENGTH
OF COOKING TIME
Press the length of cooking time and set the time
required using the
+
or
button. The AUTO symbol
and the length of cooking symbol stay on. The relay
switches on immediately. When the end of cooking
time coincides with the time set the relay and the
length of cooking symbol switch off, the beep sounds
and the AUTO symbol flashes.
SEMI-AUTOMATIC OPERATION WITH END OF
COOKING
Press the end of cooking button. The display shows
the current time.
Use the
+
and
buttons to select the end of cooking
time required. The AUTO and length of cooking time
symbols stay on. The relay contacts switch on. When
the end of cooking time coincides with the time set the
relay and the length of cooking symbol switch off.
At the end of cooking time the AUTO symbol flashes,
the beep sounds and the length of cooking and the
relay switch off.
AUTOMATIC OPERATION WITH LENGTH AND
END OF COOKING
Press the length of cooking time button and use the
+
and
buttons to select the length of cooking time
required. The AUTO and length of cooking time
symbols stay on. The relays switch on. Press the end
of cooking button. The display shows the nearest end
of cooking time. Use the
+
button to select the end of
cooking time required. The relay and the length of
cooking time symbol switch off. The symbol lights up
again when the time coincides with the start cooking
time. At the end of cooking time the AUTO symbol
flashes, the beep sounds and the length of cooking
and the relay switch off.
TIMER
Press the timer button and use the
+
or
button to
select the cooking time required. The bell symbol
lights up when the timer is operating. At the end of the
programmed time the beep sounds and the bell
symbol goes out.
BEEP
The beep sounds at the end of a programming or a
timer function and lasts for 15 minutes.
To stop it press any function button.
BEGIN PROGRAM AND CHECK
The program starts about 4 seconds after
programming. The program can be checked at any
time by pressing the corresponding button.
PROGRAMMING ERROR
There is a programming error if the time indicated by
the clock is between the start cooking time and the
end of cooking time. A beep sounds immediately and
the AUTO symbol flashes intermittently.
The programming error can be corrected by varying
the length of cooking or the end of cooking time. If
there is a programming error the relays are switched
off.
CANCELLING A PROGRAM
A program can be cancelled by pressing the length of
cooking time button and the
button until the display
shows 00 00. At the end of a selected program it is
automatically cancelled.
