02 POWER SEAT ADJUSTMENT (if equipped)

LUMBAR CONTROL
To manually adjust the lumbar support, move the lever to the
desired position.

SEATBACK ANGLE
To recline the seatback, move the control forward or
backward.
C
SEAT HEIGHT AND FORWARD / BACKWARD
To raise or lower the seat, raise or lower the
control switch. Raising / lowering the front of
the control will raise / lower the front portion
of the cushion. Raising / lowering the back of
the control will raise / lower the rear portion
of the cushion. Move the control switch
forward or backward to move the seat forward
or backward.
03 POWER MIRROR CONTROL
ADJUSTING
1. Move the select switch to
the right or left to activate the
corresponding mirror.
2. Adjust the mirror angle by
depressing the appropriate
perimeter switch as illustrated.
3. Place the select switch in the
middle position to deactivate the
perimeter switch.
INSTRUMENT PANEL FEATURES
01 DRIVER POSITION MEMORY SYSTEM (if equipped)
The Driver Position Memory System controls
are located on the driver’s side door trim.
MEMORIZING DRIVER POSITION
1. Place the shift lever into “P” while the
ignition switch is “ON.”
2. Adjust the driver’s seat, outside rearview
mirrors and adjustable pedal positions to
the desired position.
3. Push the “M” button on the control panel until the signal beeps.
4. Within five seconds, push button “1” or “2” until the signal beeps twice. The beep
confirms that the positions are successfully memorized.
TO ACTIVATE THE MEMORIZED POSITION
1. Place the shift lever into “P” while the ignition switch is “ON.”
2. When you push button “1” or “2,” the driving position will be automatically adjusted
to the position recorded for that button.
EASY ACCESS FUNCTION
When the auto button is “ON” (the indicator light illuminates) with the shift lever in
the “P” position, the system will move the driver’s seat forward or backward automati-
cally so you can comfortably enter and exit the vehicle.
See the Owner’s Manual for conditions in which the Driver Position Memory System will
not operate.

08 PARKING BRAKE RELEASE
To release the parking brake, pull
the parking brake release lever
while applying the service brake.
11 WIPER / WASHER
A
WIPER SPEED
The windshield wiper switch has four
positions: intermittent or AUTO (if
equipped), low speed, high speed
and mist. For mist (single
wipe), move the lever up
one position.

INTERMITTENT WIPERS
With the windshield wiper
switch in the “INT” position, the interval
between wipes can be varied by turning the
intermittent wiper switch.

WIPE / WASH OPERATION
To use the windshield washer, pull the wiper / washer lever toward you. The washer
continues to operate until the lever is released. When the washer is operated, the wipers
automatically make two passes across the windshield.

07 ADJUSTABLE PEDALS (if equipped)
Turn the ignition key to the “ON”
position with the selector lever
in the “P” position and push the
switch.
If you move the portion of the
switch, the pedals move rearward.
If you move the portion of the
switch, the pedals move forward.
To unlatch the hood, pull
the release lever. The hood
should pop open slightly.

HEADLIGHT SWITCH
To operate the headlights, turn the
switch on the end of the lever:
OFF – Headlights off
– Parking lights on
– Headlights on
AUTO – Auto Light (if equipped)
NOTE: The ignition must be in the
“ON” position to turn on the headlights.
HIGH BEAM ACTIVATION
Push the lever forward.
Flash-To-Pass Feature: Pull the lever towards you and release.

FOG LIGHT SWITCH (if equipped)
Turn the switch to the “ON” position.
NOTE: Fog lights will only function on low beam.
There are three control
buttons for the digital
clock. Their functions are:
H: Push “H” to advance
the hours.
M: Push “M” to advance the minutes.
R: Push “R” to reset minutes to “:00.” Continue to press and hold the “R” button to
toggle between military time and standard time.
15 OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM
PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF
INDICATOR
The indicator will illuminate
when you turn the ignition key
to “ON” or “START.” The light
will not illuminate when the
passenger’s airbag is enabled. Refer to the Owners’ Manual for a complete description
of this system. NOTE: The driver’s air bag and the driver’s side impact air bag are not
part of the occupant classification system.

LOW TIRE PRESSURE INDICATOR: Illuminates if one or more of your tires is
significantly under-inflated.
LOW TIRE PRESSURE POSITION INDICATOR: Indicates which tire is significantly
under-inflated by illuminating the corresponding position light.
TPMS MALFUNCTION INDICATOR: Illuminates and stays illuminated when there
is a problem with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

move the shift lever right to the manual shift gate. The instrument

The front seats can be electrically heated individually when the ignition switch is ON. When
the switch is ON, a number ranging from 1 to 5 is displayed on the switch (5 = warmest
setting). To turn off the seat warmer, set the switch to 0.

REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY

There are three ways
to open and close the
tailgate automatically:
• Overhead console
• Tailgate button
• Keyfob
NOTE: When the
power ON/OFF button
(PWR), located in the
overhead console, is
OFF (not depressed), the
power sliding door and
power tailgate cannot be
controlled with the sub-
control buttons or door
handles. However, the
doors can be controlled
with the transmitter or
the main control buttons
on the overhead console
even through the power
ON/OFF button (PWR) is
OFF (not depressed).
STOWING THE 3RD ROW SEAT

Lower the headrest to the
lowest position.

Fold the seatback by pulling out
the folding strap.

Pull the seat downward by using the
stowing strap.

Stow the seat by pushing down firmly.
ADJUSTING AND FOLDING THE 2ND ROW SEAT

Lower the headrest to the lowest position.

Move the seat to rearmost position.

Flip up the armrests.

Double-fold the rear seat forward by pulling up the seatback recliner lever.

Pull the folding strap out of the pocket located under the seat cushion. Lift the entire
folded seat forward and tie the folded seat to the assist handle using the strap.

CHILD-PROTECTOR REAR DOOR LOCK
To engage the child-protector feature so
that the door cannot be opened from the
inside, move the child-protector lever to
the “LOCK” position and close the door.
Move the lever to the “UNLOCK” position
when normal door operation is desired.
To open the door from the outside, pull
the outside door handle.

NOTE: When the power ON/OFF button (PWR) is OFF (not depressed), the power sliding
doors and power tailgate cannot be controlled with the sub control buttons or door handles.
However, the doors can be controlled with the transmitter or the main control buttons on
the overhead console even through the power ON/OFF button (PWR) is OFF (not depressed).
Also, the doors can be opened and closed manually by pulling the inside or outside
door handles.
