SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these safety notes carefully before using this product to make sure
you operate the equipment safely.
Warning: This warning alerts users to areas of the product
where there is the possibility of personal injury.
Your Sagem Communications product and recommended
supplies have been designed and tested to meet strict safety
requirements. These include safety agency approval, and compliance to
established environmental standards. Please read the following
instructions carefully before operating the product and refer to them as
needed to ensure the continued safe operation of your product. The safety
and environment testing and performance of this product have been
verified using Sagem Communications materials only.
Warning: Any unauthorized alteration, which may include the
addition of new functions or connection of external devices, may
impact the product warranty. Please contact your authorized
Service Provider for more information.
Warning Markings: All warning instructions marked on or supplied with
the product should be followed.
Do not remove the type plate from your device; this would voice the
warranty.
Protect the device against direct sunlight, heat, large temperature
fluctuations and moisture. Do not place the device in the vicinity of heaters
or air conditioners. In the event that the device becomes too hot, or if you
see smoke coming from the device, you must immediately pull the power
cable out of the power socket. Have your device examined by trained
professionals at a technical service location. To prevent the spread of fire,
open flames should be kept away from the device.
Electrical Supply
This product shall be operated from the type of electrical supply indicated
on the product’s data plate label. If you are not sure that your electrical
supply meets the requirements, please consult your local power company
for advice.
Warning - Electrical Safety Information
• Only use the supplied power supply (KSAD1200150W1UK A - NETBIT
for UK; KSAD1200150W1EU A - NETBIT for Europe;
KSAD1200150W1US - Ktec for USA/Canada).
Using an unauthorized power supply may damage the device.
Connect it to a mains outlet in compliance with the installation
instructions in this booklet and the indications stated on the
identification label located on the unit (voltage, current and frequency of
the electricity network). As a precaution, in case of danger, the mains
adapters act as a disconnecting mechanism for the 110V or 230V
power supply. They should be placed near the device and should be
easily accessible.
• This equipment is to be used on a branch circuit, that has larger
capacity than rated ampere and voltage of this machine. See data plate
on the rear panel for the rated ampere and voltage of this equipment.
• Do not place this equipment where people might step on or trip over the
power cord.
• Do not plug in the device in moist rooms.
