PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
1. Packing
The packaging material is entirely recyclable, as
confirmed by the recycling symbol .
2. Products
The appliances are built from recyclable materials. If you
decide to scrap the appliances act responsibly and
observe local waste disposal by laws. Cut off the power
cords so that the appliances cannot be connected to the
mains.
Declaration of conformity
These appliances are designed to come into contact with
foodstuffs and they are constructed in compliance with
Directive 89/109/EEC.

The appliances are designed solely for use as cooking
appliances. Any other use of the appliances (e.g. for
room heating) is considered as improper use and
potentially dangerous.

The appliances are designed, built and sold in
compliance with:

The safety requirements of “Low Voltage” Directive
73/23/EEC.

The protection requirements of EMC Directive
89/336/EEC.

PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
•
Before any maintenance on the appliance disconnect
it from the electrical power supply.
•
Keep children away from the appliance when in use
and when it has just been switched off.
•
The appliance must be repaired or adjusted
exclusively by a qualified technician.
•
Make sure that the electrical wires of other electrical
appliances near the cooktop do not come into contact
with hot parts.
•
Do not leave the appliance unattended when frying
food: risk of fire.
•
Risk of fire! Do not bring naked lights to the fryer when
it is ON because the oil or fat could easily catch fire.
•
When using the barbecue, the extractor hood should
be switched on or a window opened.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
ELECTRIC HOTPLATE
Check whether:
•
Has the control knob been turned to the correct
position?
•
is there a power cut?
BARBECUE
The heating element does not work:
Check whether:
•
The "On" indicator light is off.
Check whether there is a power cut, if not, call the
After-Sales Service.
•
The "On" indicator light is on.
The heating element is faulty: call the After-Sales
Service.
•
There are unpleasant smells:
There are residues of cooking fat in the pumice stone
tray.
FRYER
The oil overflows:
Check whether:
•
The basket has been put into the oil too quickly.
•
The oil level is higher than the maximum mark.
•
There is too much food.
The oil does not heat up:
Check whether:
•
The two indicator lights have gone out. If there is no
power cut, it means that the safety thermostat has
operated: in this case call the After-Sales Service.
The
“On”
indicator light is on and the oil temperature
indicator light is off.
Check whether the thernmostat knob is set to
“0”
,
otherwise call the After-Sales Service.
There are unpleasant smells:
•
The oil or cooking fat is old and needs to be changed.
