Risk of suffocation! Packaging material (i.e. film or polystyrene)
should not be used to play with. Always keep children away from
the packaging material. The packaging material is not a toy.
Keep electrical products away from children. People with sensory,
motor, mental and physical impairments should not use the electrical
product, unless they are instructed and supervised by a responsible
person. This product is not a toy!
RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE
This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by
the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
Check the product before every use! If you discover any damage to
the product or the mains lead, discontinue using the product!

If you notice anything unusual during use (e.g. unusual noise, strange
odour or smoke), switch the product off immediately, unplug the
power plug from socket and remove the batteries. Do not use the
product anymore until it has been checked by a qualified person.
Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation inside the
product. In this case, allow the product to acclimate for some time
before using it again!
Do not place lit candles or an open fire on the product or in its proximity.
Do not use the product near heat sources such as radiators or other
devices emitting heat!
Do not throw the product in the fire and do not expose it to high
temperatures.
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Never open the housing of the product! It has no internal parts
requiring maintenance.
Never touch the mains plug or the product with damp or wet hands.
Do not independently convert or modify the product.
Repairs to the product must be performed by authorised specialised
companies or customer service. Improper repairs may result in con-
siderable danger to the user. They will also void the warranty.
Avoid the danger of death
from electric shock!
Verify before every use that the available mains voltage corresponds
to the required operating voltage of the product (220–240 V∼ (alter-
nating current) 50 Hz)!
Before using the product, verify that the product and the cable
connection are not damaged! Never operate a damaged product!
The product must be plugged into an easily accessible socket so it
can easily be unplugged in the event of an emergency.

Always place the product on a stable and even surface. It could be
damaged if it fell over.
Do not cover the ventilation openings. Otherwise, there will be
danger of a fire.
Do not place any containers filled with liquids (i.e. vases or drinks)
onto the product or next to the product. If liquids are spilled into the
product, immediately unplug the power plug from socket and remove
the batteries. Do not use the product anymore until it has been
checked by a qualified person.
The product also consumes a small amount of energy as long as the
mains plug is still plugged into the mains socket. To separate the prod-
uct completely from the mains, unplug the power plug from the
socket.
Always remove the mains plug by the plug itself from mains socket.
Never pull by its cable.
Always place the mains cable so nobody will trip over it.
Do not place heavy objects, for example furniture, on a power cord.
This product is for moderate climates areas use, not suitable for use in
tropical climates countries.

reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical
attention.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries /
rechargeable batteries and / or open them. Overheating,
fire or bursting can be the result.

Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which
could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct
sunlight.
If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with
skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immedi-
ately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged
batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on
contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at
all times if such an event occurs.
In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries,
immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.
Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batteries. Do not
mix used and new batteries / rechargeable batteries.
Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be
used for a longer period.
Risk of damage of the product
Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery!
Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks
(+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product.
Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and in the
battery compartment before inserting!

Inserting batteries
Note: To avoid losing the time and alarm clock settings as a result
of a potential power failure, insert two batteries 1.5 V, AA. The batteries
ensure that the internal clock also functions during a power failure. As
soon as the power is switched on again, the correct time is shown on
the display

Note: During emergency mode the display, radio, alarm and night-
light do not function.
Note: The batteries should be replaced once a year to guarantee
that the alarm clock works perfectly.

Switching the radio on and off
Note: You can set the frequency range VHF (FM) from 87.5 to
108.0 MHz and MW (AM) from 522 to 1620 kHz.
However, it may be that diverging national regulations in different
countries exist regarding the permissible broadcasting frequency ranges.
The reception may be a punishable offense in some countries. Therefore,
ensure the following: do not utilize information received outside of the
permissible broadcasting frequency ranges, do not pass this onto third
parties or do not use this improperly.
