Introduction
DOCK for iPod
TIME/BASS
Press to activate the
bass boost.
With the clock radio
powered o, press and
hold to set the clock.
SOURCE
Press to switch between
FM, iPod, and LINE IN
modes.
POWER
Press to power the clock
radio o or on.
VOLUME
Press to adjust the
volume.
PRESET (-/+)
Press to switch between
saved radio stations.

With the clock radio

The battery backup is meant for short
unexpected power outages. The clock
radio cannot function o of the backup
battery for a prolonged period.

Docking an iPod
Playing an iPod
1. Follow the instructions for
DOCKING AN iPod.
2. Adjust the POWER button to
power on the clock radio.
3. Press the SOURCE button to
switch to iPod mode.
“iPod” will appear on the display.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button
to begin playing music from the
docked iPod.
iPod
1. Locate the numbered bracket that
ts the iPod model that will be
docked.
Each included bracket has a number
on it, indicating which iPod model
that bracket is compatible with. See
the separate bracket chart page to
identify which bracket is needed.
2. Snap the bracket into place over
the iPod connector in the dock for
iPod.
3. Connect the iPod to the connector
inside the Dock for iPod.
When the clock radio is plugged in,
using AC power, the docked iPod will
charge.

Clock and Alarm
Setting the Clock Setting the Sleep Timer
1. Press the POWER button to turn
the clock radio o.
2. Press and hold the TIME button.
3. While holding the TIME button,
press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to
adjust the hour and minute.
“PM” will appear on the display
when the time is set to the pm.
4. When the correct time is set,
release to the TIME button to
nish setting the clock.
1. Follow the instructions for playing
an iPod or playing the FM radio.
2. Press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button
repeatedly to set the sleep timer
between 10 and 90 minutes, in 10
minute increments.
3. After the set sleep time has
expired, the clock radio will
automatically power o.
Setting the Alarm
1. Press the POWER button to turn
the clock radio o.
2. Press and hold the AL1 or AL2
button.
3. While holding the AL1 or AL2
button, press the SKIP/SEARCH
buttons to adjust the hour and
minute.
“PM” will appear on the display
when the time is set to the pm.
4. When the correct alarm time is set,
release to the AL1 or AL2 button
to nish setting the clock.
5. Press the AL1 or AL2 button
repeatedly to set alarm 1 or alarm
2 to wake to iPod, FM radio, the
buzzer, or to turn the alarm o.
6. After the alarm sounds, press the
POWER button to turn the alarm
o.

Tuning the FM RadioUsing the Line Input
Tuning Preset Radio Stations
1. Adjust the POWER button to
power on the clock radio.
2. Press the SOURCE button to
switch to FM radio mode.
“FM” will appear on the display.
3. Press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to
tune the FM radio.
Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (not
included)
1. Use a 3.5mm audio cable to
connect an MP3 player or other
audio source to the LINE INPUT on
the clock radio.
2. Press the POWER button to power
the clock radio on.
3. Press the SOURCE button to switch
the clock radio to LINE IN mode.
“LINE IN” will appear on the display.
4. Audio played through the
connected MP3 player or other
audio source will now play through
the clock radios speakers.
1. Follow the instructions for Tuning
the FM Radio.
2. Press the PRESET (-/+) buttons
to cycle through saved FM radio
stations.
Saving a Radio Station
1. Follow the instructions for Tuning
the FM Radio.
2. Once the desired radio station is
tuned, press and hold the DIM/
MEM button for 3 seconds.
3. Press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to
select a memory preset, e.g. “P02”,
for the current station.
4. Press the DIM/MEM button to save
the current FM radio station to the
selected memory preset.
