Information on how to keep your fryer in the best working order.
Filtering and changing the oil
Make sure that the fryer is cooled down and unplugged.
On average, oil can be used for 8 to 12 separate times
before it will need to be changed. If you are frying fish or
battered foods then you will need to change the oil more
often. Filter the oil to get rid of any food that has fallen
through the basket and into the fat.
Cleaning
Clean your fryer thoroughly after every use once your
fryer has cooled down. See stage 2 in ‘How to use you
deep fat fryer for further details’.
Storing the oil
Store the oil in an air tight container at room temperature
away from heat and light sources.
Cord Storage
Wrap the cord loosely and place into the cord storage
space in the control box.
Storing the fryer
Fold the handle of the basket back into the basket and
replace the lid. The fryer can be stored in its box but do
not store anything else on top of the box.
