If the exposed portion of chimney is greater than ve feet above roof
line, support wires are recommended to keep chimney secured.

1. Attach chimney support brackets to outer pipe of chimney
with self-drilling screws provided in kit (screws must not
penetrate inner ue pipe).
2. Place chimney support brackets approximately 18" below
replace termination and space brackets approximately
120° apart.
3. Cut support wires to appropriate length for each leg of
support system. Insert end of support wire through cable
ferrule hole and loop into chimney support bracket then
back through other end of cable ferrule hole. Be sure to
allow enough return wire for cable ferrule.
4. Using standard pliers, crimp cable ferrules.
5. Screw eye bolt into roof. Apply waterproof sealant. Attach
other end of support wire into eye bolt screw through cable
ferrule (follow step #3). The angle of support wires should
not be more than 45° from horizontal when fastened to
roof.
Attachment of support wires to roof must be in accordance
with the manufactured home instructions or acceptable
construction standards.
10-FOOT RULE: The chimney ue gas outlet of the termination
must be a minimum distance of 3 feet above the highest point
where pipe penetrates roof, and must be a minimum distance
of 2 feet above the highest point of roof within a horizontal
distance of 10 feet.
