Power Setup Notice
This device is particularly designed for use with a Posiflex system. In
such application, it can utilize power support from the Posiflex system.

The LM/TM-6210 9.7” USB-interface 2

LCD monitor/touch monitor product
series is typical of small-sized LCD peripheral. The LM/TM-6210 is a stand
alone LCD monitor/touch monitor display designed for discrete POS
applications.

PACKAGE CONTENTS
Following are items you may find when you carefully unpack the carton that

If there is any discrepancy or problem, contact your dealer immediately.
Be sure to save the packing materials in case the monitor needs to
be shipped at some point in the future.

PHYSICAL INSTALLATION
LM/TM-6210 model:
Find a flat surface to site the base of the LM/TM-6210 display. For application
operation, find connectors in the bottom of the display as in the drawing below:
USB Interface Connection
To enable connection, install USB interface driver firstly. To download the
driver, please go to http://www.posiflex.com/en-global/Download/download
.
For immediate PnP function, connect the attached USB 2.0 cable to the USB
port in the host system.

The buttons at the right side of LCD display are for the control operations and
LCD screen power control as in the above picture and are explained below:
” button: To increase setting.
” button: To decrease setting.
” button: To turn the monitor power ON/OFF.
The monitor can be turned OFF only when there is no video signal and can
be turned ON only when there is video signal. The default status is set to
ON when power is supplied unless manually turned OFF. Please try to
disconnect the USB type cable once unfortunately the screen display
goes into a mess.

II. HARDWARE INSTALLATION
A. TILTING LCD PANEL
The tilting mechanism in LM/TM-6210 utilizes
hinges and there is no particular skill to turn the LCD
panel to most suitable angle for either viewing or
convenience in cable connection/disconnection.
B. CONNECTING ALL CABLES
With the LCD
monitor/touch monitor panel
turned to most backward
position, the main I/O
connector area will be easily
accessible at bottom
side of the main unit. Please
first note orientations of every existing cable connection and then
connect every cable properly before any further reconfiguration of cable
connections.
C. OPENING PLASTIC NECK COVER
In order to settle the LCD panel properly
in a point of sale, all the cable
Connections have to be routed through its
base. Therefore, please observe the side
view pictures of the base trunk at the right
and release the triangle marked hooks to
remove the plastic neck cover.

D. CABLE ROUTING IN BASE
For cable routing in the mini slim base, please refer to the picture
below. Have all cables pass through the oval hole on the trunk as
triangle marked to come out of the arrowed cable exit hole on the base
rear side of trunk. Then connect all the cables ends to main unit.
APPLICATION GUIDES
APPLICATION LIMITATION
The USB touch is not applicable for OS other than Windows as USB mouse
is not supported in DOS environment. The USB touch is also applicable when
the monitor is used to be the extended screen in dual monitor application.
