contents of the kit. If anything is missing, please
contact an Öhlins dealer.
Kit Contents
Please note that during storage and
transportation, especially at high ambient
temperature, some of the oil and grease used for
assembling may leak and stain the packaging.
This is in no way detrimental to the product,
wipe off the excess oil/grease with a cloth.

Warning!

important part of your vehicle and will affect the
stability.

How to Install Adjustments
Warning!
It is advisable to have an Öhlins dealer install the
shock absorber.
When installing, read the Vehicle Service
Manual.
When working on a raised vehicle, ensure the
vehicle is securely supported so that it will not
tip.

Install the dampers with spacer 06119-22
pointing towards the drive shaft.

Warning!
Before driving the vehicle, read and make sure
you understand how the product works. Read
more about adjustments and setting up in the
Öhlins Owner’s Manual before you make any
adjustments. Contact an Öhlins dealer if you
have any questions about setting up the shock
absorber.
Compression Damping
Note!
Install 06119-21 and
06119-22 last.
Rebound Damping
Compression damping adjuster
Adjustments are made with the golden
(left) knob on the valve housing. The
black, 3 mm, allen key in the middle is
the low speed adjuster and the golden
12mm hex is the high speed adjuster.
Note!
Do not turn the golden 19 mm hex.
Rebound damping adjuster
Adjustments are made with the silver
(right) knob on the valve housing. The
black, 3 mm, allen key in the middle is
the low speed adjuster and the silver
12mm hex is the high speed adjuster.
Note!
Do not turn the golden 19 mm hex.
Spring preload adjuster
Adjustments are made with the
adjustment rings on the outer tube of
the damper. Use ÖR tool 03199-01 (not
included). Since no springs are included
in the kit you need to set the ride height
once the dampers are mounted on
thecar.
The adjusters have a normal right hand
thread. Turn clockwise to fully closed. Turn
counter clockwise to open and count the
clicks until you reach the recommended
number.

Note!
When delivered the Öhlins strut is not dialed to
recommended settings for the specific brand
and make of the vehicle. You need to reset it
according to the Set-up Data.
Note!
If you have turned the adjuster without counting
the number of clicks you must go back to the
recommended settings. Close the adjuster
and count the clicks when turning it counter-
clockwise.
Caution!
Do not use force, delicate sealing surfaces can
be damaged. Handtighten only.
