Mounting instructions
1.
Ställ MC:n på centralstödet.
2.
Demontera sadel och sidokåpor
3.
Demontera batteri och tillhörande batterihållare.
4.
Demontera skruvarna (2st) för expansionskärlet och
elpanelen på vänster sida, och vik dessa åt sidan.
5.
Demontera dämparjusteringen som sitter på högra
ramröret, samt luftslangen. Lossa och ta bort
bultarna till stötdämparen. Ett tips är att använda en
hävarm under bakdäcket så att man kan lyfta
bakhjulet upp och ner och på så sätt avlasta bultarna
för lättare demontering. När detta är gjort är det
klart för montering av Öhlin-dämpare.
6.
Montera stötdämparen i svingen först, därefter passa
in den i det övre fästet och sätt dit bulten. Använd
förutnämnda hävarm igen och lyft bakhjulet så att
bulthålen kommer mitt för varandra i det nedre
fästet.
7.
För att sedan montera den hydrauliska
fjäderjusteringen måste Du demontera den högra
övre motorfästplåten. Sedan för Du behållaren
mellan ramröret och motorn (se skiss A). Det nya
medföljande fästet skruvar du fast med
originalbultarna. OBS! Se till att slangen ligger fritt
till höger om ventilkåpan.

Montera resten av batteri, sadel, sidokåpor etc..
9.
Se till att samtliga skruvar är åtdragna.
1.
Put the motorcycle on the centerstand.
2.
Remove seat and side panels.
3.
Remove the battery and battery holder.
4.
Remove the two screws holding the expansion tank
and the electric panel on the left side, and turnn
these units a side.
5.
Remove the damping adjustment unit and the air
hose located on the right frame tube. Then loosen
and remove the bolts holding the shockabsorber. One
tip is to use a rod or similar device to lift the rear
wheel up and down, to take the load off the shock
bolts for easier removing. Then take away the
damper unit. When this is done it’s time to mount
the new Öhlin-shockabsorber.
6.
Mount the Öhlin shockabsorber in the lower end
first and thereafter fit it in the upper mount. Then
use the before mentioned rod to lift the rear wheel so
that the hole in the shockabsorber and upper mount
line up.Then mount the shockabsorber bolts.
7.
To mount the hydraulic spring preload unit, you will
have to remove the right upper engine mount plate.
You then pull the preload unit between the frame
tube and the engine (See fig A). Then take the new
mounting plate (already mounted on the
shockabsorber) and mount it with the original bolts.
Now mount the preload unit with supplied bolts and
nuts to the mounting plate. Note! Care should be
taken so that the hose is moving freely and not
touching the valve cover.
8.
Remount the battery, sidepanel, seat etc.
9.
Make sure that all bolts are tightened.
