1. INSTRUCTIONS OF REMOTE CONTROL
Operation in the following modes:
- COOL / DRY / HEAT / AUTO / FAN.
- Speed selection AUTO/HIGH/LOW/MEDIUM.
- Temperature setting in the following ranges: 16ºC to
30ºC (61ºF to 86ºF).
- Sleep Function.
- Operation LED indicator.
- Room temperature display.
- 7-days programmable. With daily On/Off function.
- Battery included to maintain the clock time in case
of power failure.
- Keypad lock to prevent non-authorised persons from
changing the settings.
To set the weekly programmer
Programming the start of the unit:
1. Press ON TIMER (13).
2. Select the day of the week (DAY) (9), select the
time a.m. or p.m. (HOUR) (10), select the minute
(MINUTE) (11).
3. Go back to item 2 to select another day of the week, if
you don’t want to program one day, in hour select: __
4. Once programming is completed press ON TIMER
again.
Programming the stop of the unit:
1. Press OFF TIMER (14)
2. Select the day of the week (DAY) (9), select the
time a.m. or p.m. (HOUR) (10), select the minute
(MINUTE) (11).
3. Go back to item 2 to select another day of the week.
4. Once programming is completed press OFF TIMER (14)
again.
Erasing all programs:
- Press HOLD (12) for a few seconds.
Other functions
Keypad lock: to activate this function, press the "MINUTE"
(11) button 3 consecutive times. The keypad lock symbol
will appear on the screen. When the keypad is locked,
only the On/Off and fan speed functions are activated.
To unlock the keypad, press the "MINUTE" (11) key 3
consecutive times.

6- Temperature setting buttons. Temperature adjusts
in 1ºC steps.
Pressing both buttons simultaneously will change the
temperature from ºC to ºF.
7- Operation mode selection button.
To set the time
- Press the CLOCK button (8).
- Select the day of the week (DAY) (9).
- Select the time a.m. or p.m. (HOUR) (10).
- Select the minute (MINUTE) (11).
- Press the CLOCK button (8).



2. MAINTENANCE OF D / DZ RANGE
INDOOR UNIT:
Clean the lter regularly. This will ensure correct operation
of the unit and is also advisable for health reasons, as
impurities in the air are deposited in the lter. The unit
should be cleaned with the power turned off.
Do not t perfuming, anti-odour systems, etc. to the
indoor air inlet. This may damage and dirty the evapo-
rator battery. If necessary, install these systems in the
outlet of the machine. They should only operate when
the fan is working.
OUTDOOR UNIT:
Do not obstruct or cover the air inlet or outlet. This could
cause damage to the unit and will result in greater elec-
tricity consumption.
Clean the condenser and outdoor battery regularly with
a soft brush. This operation should be carried out when
the unit is powered off.
3. MAINTENANCE OF Z RANGE
Clean the lter regularly. This will ensure correct
operation of the unit and is also advisable for health
reasons, as impurities in the air are deposited in the
lter. The unit should be cleaned with the power
turned off.
Do not obstruct or cover the air inlet or outlet. This
could cause damage to the unit and will result in
greater electricity consumption.
Do not obstruct the indoor air inlets to the
machine.
Do not t perfuming, anti-odour systems, etc. to the
indoor air inlet. This may damage and dirty the eva-
porator battery. If necessary, install these systems in
the outlet of the machine. They should only operate
when the fan is working.
We recommend you take out a preventative mainte-
nance service contract with your tter or with Saunier
Duval's Technical Assistance Service. This will help to
extend the service life of the equipment and improve

These are some common problems and possible
causes. If you cannot solve the problem with the
solutions given, you should contact your regular
tter or call your nearest Saunier Duval Technical
Assistance Service.
THE UNIT DOESN´T WORK:
- Check that general switches and fuses are correctly
in place.
- Check that the thermostat controls are in the right
position.
THE UNIT DOES NOT COOL OR HEAT SUFFICIEN-
TLY:
- Check that the outdoor unit is not obstructed and that
the battery is clean.
- Check that there are no obstacles blocking the inlet
air.
- Check the lters in the indoor unit.
- Check that doors and windows are closed.
4. REMARKS
THE OUTDOOR UNIT GIVES OFF STEAM:
In winter and during the thaw period, a cloud of steam
may be emitted from the outdoor unit in the D range
and the outdoor air outlet in the DZ, and Z range. This
is due to the fact that the heat melts any ice which
has formed, causing steam.
REMARKS:
Except in the case of long period of stoppage, do
not disconnect the unit from the mains, but use the
remote control instead. The heater of the compressor
housing will continue to operate, thus ensuring that
the unit is in conditions to operate when required.

card and send it to us as soon as possible. By return
of post you will receive the ofcial guarantee.

Do not use this unit for any other purposes like drying
clothes, cooling foodstuff or any other heating or cooling

temperatures specied below. Do not let it work outside
said ranges.
