CONNECTING THE RADIO
THE UNIT CAN USE AC POWER BY PLUGING THE AC CORD INTO THE
POWER OUTLET (7). THE UNIT CAN ALSO USE DC POWER BY USING 4PCS
1.5-VOLT AA SIZE UM3 LR6 BATTERIES INTO THE BATTERY
COMPARTMENT (6).
RADIO OPERATION
SLIDE THE BAND/OFF SWITCH (2) TO AM OR FM POSITION TO TURN ON
THE RADIO AND THE POWER LIGHT (9). SLIDE THE BAND/OFF SWITCH (2)
TO OFF POSITION TO TURN OFF THE RADIO AND LIGHT (9).
SLIDE THE BAND/OFF SWITCH (2) TO AM POSITION TO SELECT AM BAND
(540-1600KHZ) AND ADJUST TUNING KNOB (4) AND VOLUME KNOB (5)
FOR THE DESIRED STATION AND LISTENING LEVEL.
SLIDE THE BAND/OFF SWITH (2) TO FM POSITION TO SELECT FM BAND
(88-108MHZ), PULL OUT THE ANTENNA (1) IN THE LEFT UP CORNER AND
ADJUST TUNING KNOB (4) AND VOLUME KNOB (5) FOR THE DESIRED
STATION AND LISTENING LEVEL.
PHONE JACK
PLUG AN EARPHONE INTO THE PHONE JACK (3) TO CUT OFF TRUMP
SOUND AND ACHIEVE EARPHONE LISTENING.
AUX-IN JACK
THE OUTER PUT-IN CAN BE INSERTED INTO THE AUX-IN JACK (8) BY
USING AN AUX-IN LINE (NOT INCLUDED) TO CUT OFF THE RADIO
PLAYING AND AMPLIFY THE OUTER SOUND SOURCE FOR PLAYING CD,
MP3 ETC.
NOTED
WHERE THE MAINS PLUG OR AN APPLIANCE COUPLER IS USED AS THE
DISCONNECT DEVICE, THE DISCONNECT DEVICE SHALL REMAIN
READILY OPERABLE.
