Pixi PTC14A1C is a pendant mount lighting fixture that offers adjustable hanging height and easy installation. It features two cables, one with a large hook and the other with two small hooks. Please read carefully and follow all safety instructions before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.

servicing the ﬁ xture.

• WARNING - Risk of ﬁ re or electric shock. Properly make all electrical and grounding connections in accordance with the

NEC and any applicable local code requirements.

• WARNING – Risk of ﬁ re or electric shock. Pendant mount kit for the ﬁ xture installation requires knowledge of luminaire

electrical system and the hazard involved. If not qualiﬁ ed, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualiﬁ ed electrician.

• WARNING – Do not install the pendant mount kit if the ﬁ xture is damaged.

• WARNING – Do not disassemble or open the LED ﬁ xture when installing the pendant mount kit.

• WARNING – Do not place or store items on top of ﬁ xture.

• CAUTION – Risk of injury. Wear safety glasses and gloves when installing the pendant mount kit.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS GUIDE

WARNING - Risk of ﬁ re or electric shock. Disconnect and turn power o at fuse or circuit breaker before installing or

servicing.

1. Unscrew and remove wiring cover plate on the back of the ﬁ xture, and then remove the knockout located on the wiring

cover plate.

2. Connect and secure the Wire Clamp to wiring cover plate.

3. Route and feed the wire cord through the wire clamp. Tighten the screws on the wire clamp to

mechanically secure the wire cord.

4. Separate the wires from the wire cord and ﬁ xture.

5. Using the wire nuts provided, connect the black wire of the wire cord to the black wire from the

ﬁ xture. Connect the white wire of the wire cord to the white wire from the ﬁ xture. Connect the

green wire of the wire cord to the green/yellow ground wire from the ﬁ xture. Note: Fixture

ground wire should be secured and connected with the ground screw.

6. Insert the all electrical wiring connections into the wiring compartment of

the ﬁ xture. Attach and secure the wiring cover plate with the screw back to the

ﬁ xture.

Once wiring connection of the Wire Cord is completed, proceed to the

Pendant Mounting Instructions.

4. If using the toggle eye bolt, thread toggle onto eye bolt. Then push toggle through pre-drilled

hole. Skip this step, if using eye bolt with lag thread.

Note: Not required if using eye bolt with lag thread, toggle will not be used.

WARNING - It is recommended to use two people to install this pendant ﬁ xture.

WARNING - Do not place or store items on top of ﬁ xture.

1. Select the appropriate eye bolt (Toggle bolt for hollow dry wall or lag thread bolt for existing studs).

2. Once appropriate eye bolt is determined:

• For toggle eye bolt, pre-drill appropriate size hole in ceiling surface, where ﬁ xture is to be located.

• For lag thread eye bolt, pre-drill appropriate size hole for easy securement to existing studs.

3. Thread eye bolts through washer.

5. Tighten and secure eye bolt to ceiling surface.

Note: if using toggle bolt, slightly pull on eye bolt to create enough tension to screw

eye bolt into ceiling.

7. Locate the mounting tabs on the back of the ﬁ xture and bend tabs upward

to the desired position. Using cable B, clip each small hook to one tab of the

ﬁ xture.

Note: It is recommended for two people to attach ﬁ xture to the ceiling.

8. Place the level on ﬁ xture to conﬁ rm ﬁ xture is leveled and at even length on both ends

If ﬁ xture is not level or desired height needs to be adjusted, ﬁ nal adjustments can be made by

either feeding the cable wire through the metal insert or releasing the wire from the metal insert

(as described in step #7) to achieve desired height and levelness. Once desired height and

levelness is accomplished, cut any excess feed wire for a clean ﬁ nish.

Note: It is recommended to use two people when making ﬁ nal adjustments while ﬁ xture is hung.

9. With the junction box bracket and screws, mechanically secure the bracket with the provided screws to

the junction box.

WARNING - Risk of ﬁ re or electric shock. Disconnect and turn power o at fuse or circuit breaker before

any installation in the junction box.

10. At the desired length, route and feed the wire cord through the junction box cover plate and secure the wire cord to the

cover plate using the cover plate wire plug.

Note: A minimum of 3 additional inches wire cord length will be required for wiring connection to the junction box branch

circuit supply wires.

11. Using the wire nuts provided, connect the “hot” wire of the branch circuit supply to the black wire from the wire cord.

Connect the “neutral” wire of the branch circuit supply to the white wire from the wire cord. Connect the ground wire of the

branch circuit supply to the Green wire from the wire cord.

12. Insert the all electrical wiring connections into the junction box and secure the junction box cover plate to

the junction box bracket using the provided cover plate screw.

13. Re-connect power to the circuit at the main fuse or circuit breaker.

WARNING - Do not place or store items on top of ﬁ xture.

6. Take one ceiling cable (A) to insert and feed into the metal insert on the

ﬁ xture cable (B) as shown in photo. Feed cable A with large hook until

desired length is reached. Length can be adjusted by pressing down on the

tip of the metal insert while simultaneously pulling back on the cable wire.

Apply the same procedure to the second set of cable A and B.
