SCHONSTEDT TraceMaster™ I is a multi-frequency receiver and radio-linked to transmitter pipe and cable locator. It is designed to be intuitive and require minimum training with large and easy-to-understand controls and information display.
The TraceMaster™ I operates on a passive mode, three different active modes (conductive, inductive and clamp), and a sonde mode. In the passive mode the transmitter shuts down its output and the receiver searches for 50/60 Hz signals. In the active modes the transmitter operates at a low frequency (575 Hz), a mid-range frequency (8 kHz), a high frequency (82 kHz), and a very high frequency (455 kHz).
