Establish a connection between your instrument and PC following this step-by-step guide.
Quick Start Guide
Step 3 – Configure Touchscreen
Go to “Device
Settings” by pressing the button on
the top right corner. Press “Network
Settings”, then go to “LAN Settings”.
Enter the following:
DHCP Disabled
IP-Address 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Please proceed to Step 4.
Make certain that DHCP is set to “Enabled” and note
the IP Address. We need it later to enter it in iControl
.
Please skip steps 4-7 and proceed to Step 8.

Step 4 – Windows 7, Vista or XP User
I am a Windows XP user.
Type “ncpa.cpl” in “Run” dialog to open network
settings. Press “OK”.
Step 5 – Local Area Connection
Double click “Local Area Connection”.
Step 6 – Properties & Internet Protocol
Press “Properties, then
double click “Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP).
Step 7 – IP Address
Enter 192.168.0.2 as
IP address.
Press “OK” 2 times
and then “Close.
I am a Windows 7 or Vista user.
Type “ncpa.cpl” in “Start” menu.
Click “ncpa.cpl” from the “Programs” list.
Double click “Local Area Connection”.
Press “Properties, then
double click “Internet
Protocol (TCP/IPv4)”.
Enter 192.168.0.2 as
IP address.
Press “OK” 2 times
and then “Close.

your instrument and PC.

Step 8 – Set and Test Your Connection in iControl
Press “Configure Instruments”
on the Start Page and add an
instrument.

If you use a direct cable
connection, enter 192.168.0.1 as
instrument IP address. Then press
Save”.

If you connect via the Corpo-
rate Intranet, enter the instrument
IP address from Step 3. Then press
Save”.
Press the “Test connection” button
to test the connection to the
instrument. Then press “Close.
