IN TRO DUC TION:There have been re ports of the al ter na tor out put wire con nec tor break ing at the ter mi nal of the

No. 2 al ter na tor on MOO NEY 252, TSIO360- MB1, en gine in stal la tions. This is de pend ent upo n

how tight the No. 2 al ter na tor out put wire may be se cured at vari ous points. If de sired, air craft

own ers may elect to have this S I in cor po rated on any of the above S/N air craft.

IN STRUC TIONS:

1. Re move up per cowl ing (lower cowl ing re moval is op tional) per S & M man ual, Sec tion 71- 1 0- 00.

2. Re fer to Fig ure 1 to lo cate and drill the new hole (.198/.210 dia.) to be added to 600411- 50 1 baf fle

as sem bly. New hole lo ca tion does not have to be ex actly to the di men sions shown on Fig ure 1.

De burr hole as needed.

3. Al ter na tor out put wire is routed along left di ago nal en gine mount w/ex ist ing clamps. Le ave

suf fi cient slack to al low co or di nated move ment be tween the al ter na tor, baf fle and the wire.

4. Clamp al ter na tor out put wire at new hole in rear en gine baf fle us ing MS21919DG5 clamp,

AN3- 5A, AN960- 10 and MS21045- L3, bolt, wash ers and nut.

5. Check wire rout ing to in sure free dom of move ment with en gine.

6. En ter com pli ance note into log book and re turn air craft to serv ice.
