Installation Procedure

This receiver is designed to be ush mounted and requires a back box of 35mm

(minimum depth) to be sunk into the wall prior to installation.

Step 1

Carefully separate the front half of the receiver from the back plate by placing a

small at head terminal driver into the slots on the bottom face of the receiver.

Step 2

Place the receiver front somewhere safe.

Terminate the receiver as shown in the diagrams on page 8 of this booklet.

Step 3

Screw the receiver back plate securely into the back box.

Step 4

Clip the front of the receiver back onto the receiver back plate.

Wireless Receivers

To pair the thermostat with the RC2-WTS receiver, follow these steps.

On the receiver;

Press the Pair button once.

The Communication LED will light up.

On the thermostat;

• Press PROG and then SETUP ...................................................................................

• At the top of the LCD, you will see 01.

• Use the Up key to select 05 and enter the pairing function ...................................

• In the centre of the LCD, you will see 01. This is the channel address.

The default setting of 01 can be used in most cases, but should be changed when

a conict is detected with other RF devices.

• Use the Up/Down keys to enter the address .....................................................

• Press SETUP to Pair the thermostat and receiver ........................................................

Note: You must nish pairing the thermostat before the communication LED goes out.

Pair Successful

The Comms LED on the receiver should ash and then go out to indicate

the pair is successful. The thermostat will display the communication icon.

Pair Fail

If the Comms LED does not ash there is a problem with the RF signal and

you should reduce the distance between the thermostat and receiver.

Where possible ensure there are no metal objects blocking the signal.

The LED will automatically go out after 1 minute.

There are 4 LED lights on the receiver:

Power – Permanently on when RC2-W is powered.

Heat – Lights up when heating output is on.

Limit – Flashes when no oor probe is detected. Shown permanently on when oor

probe has reached the oor temperature limit set by the thermostat.

Comms – Permanently on during pairing, ashes when successfully pairs to device

then o in normal operation.

Each LED is labelled and will light up or ash during setup and operation.

For pairing instructions and LED status information please refer to your thermostat

instruction manual.
