OVERVIEW
For enterprises with wireless LAN networks, as well as those without,
Wi-Fi brings a new set of security threats that cannot be protected

PROTECT CONFIDENTIAL BUSINESS INFORMATION
Confidential information about your business and customers can be
exposed through unsecure rogue and misconfigured APs and when
employees connect to incorrect ones, such as those in close proximity
to your business but not under your control (for example, the coffee
shop next door). The 3Com AirProtect Enterprise Wireless Intrusion
Prevention System (IPS) controls access to all these devices, helping to
protect your information.
COMPLETE THE NETWORK DEFENSES
Traditional firewalls and wired IPS systems only monitor wired traffic
and have no visibility into the wireless traffic that is flowing in the air.
Comprising a server and at least one wireless sensor device, the
AirProtect Enterprise Wireless IPS continuously scans the airwaves and
