Fujitsu SCA.1 is a half pitch connector conformed to SCA system (80 pins). It has mating guide and ESD protection to ensure safety and reliability. The product is a hot-pluggable device, which means it can be plugged or unplugged without turning off the power. Ground contacts mate first before other contacts mate when engagement is done (conforms to SCA.2 specification). To prevent pin-bending, bellows contacts are used. The connector comes in 2 types: SMT plug that mates the center of a SMT plug to the center of a PCB and a plug that is 0.9 mm (0.035 in.) off-set from center.
