The temp. in the freezer
compartment can be set at
E.F(Economy Freeze), LOW,
MID or HIGH.

Use In these cases
•When you buy a lot of food and you want to freeze as it is.
•When freezing food prepared in advance.
•When you want to keep seasonal food for a long period.
•When freezing food quickly.
How to use?
•Press the ‘FREEZER TEMP’ button till ‘Q.F’ lamp is lit
•After 150 minutes of quick freezing, it automatically returns
to its original condition. (The ‘Q.F’ lamp goes out and the
temperature returns to the previously set temperature.)
To stop while running?
•Press the ‘FREEZER TEMP’ button once again.
The ‘Q.F’ lamp goes out and quick freezing stops.

flammable materials in the
Refrigerator-they are

¥ The Refrigerator Door
Do not allow children to
hang on to the door.
The refrigerator can tumble
over or things on top of the
refrigerator can fall off.
¥ Gas Caution
Avoid touching the refrigerator
or its power cord when there is
a gas leakage from gas
equipment. Turn off the gas
equipment completely and
open a window for ventilation.
¥ Running the Refrigerator

Run the refrigerator for 2~3
hours to cool the
compartments before putting
food in.

When Plugging in Refrigerator
again
You do not have to wait when
plugging the power cord in again after
it has been unplugged. Even when
plugging in again immediately the
refrigerator will automatically start the
compressor after 6 minutes.

¥ Place the refrigerator on a
hard and level floor.
An uneven floor may cause
the refrigerator to make
noise.
¥ Place your refrigerator
where there is no heat
source nearby.
High surrounding
temperature will lower the
cooling efficiency and
increase your electricity bill.
¥ Place the refrigerator in an
area with low moisture.
Splashing water or a high
moisture area may cause a
short circuit and cause
corrosion.
¥ Avoid places that are
exposed to smoke
Discolouration of the fridge
could occur.
¥ For good ventilation, place
the refrigerator with the
spaces specified on the
diagram.
This helps cooling efficiency
and lowers the electricity bill.
¥ Placing the refrigerator on
the carpet may cause heat
to develop and discolour the
appliance.
In such a case put a hard
wooden board or a rubber
mat between the
refrigerator and the carpet.

INSTALLATION STEPS
¥ Select a safe place to install
your refrigerator.
¥ Level the refrigerator by
using the adjustable foot.
¥ Install the parts to their
places.
¥ Check if the doors are
completely shut.
¥ Check the voltage and wait
about an hour before
plugging the power cord into
the outlet.
¥ After running the
refrigerator for 2~3 hours
put food in the refrigerator.
¥ Place the height adjustable
legs in the left and right
front of the refrigerator and
turn the legs until they touch
the floor firmly. Then level
the refrigerator. At this time,
the movable wheels are
above the floor.

USE OF REFRIGERATOR ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY METHOD
Use freezer shelf for
storing frozen food. Food
can be seen from outside
due to its transparency
and can be taken out in
the shelf for convenience.
When removing the
seethrough shelf, pull out
forward.

DOOR POCKETS
Use the freezer compartment seethrough
door pockets to store small food items.
Use the egg shelf to store eggs.
Use the refrigerator compartment pocket
(MED, SM) to store small beverage drinks or
bottled food, cheese, and packed drinks.
Use the large refrigerator compartment
pocket for storing large bottles such as 2

bottles.
To remove, pull upward while pressing the
right side of the seethrough pocket.

CRISPER (CRISPER COVER)
Use the crisper when storing vegetables or
fruit. There is a moisture control filter on the
crisper cover and you can keep vegetables
and fruits fresh for a longer period.

EXCHANGING THE LAMP

LAMP
Unplug the power cord. Remove the shelf in the freezer compartment
and the shelf as well as the crisper cover in the refrigerator
compartment.
In the freezer compartment press
the centre-end of the lamp cover
and pull forward to exchange the
lamp.
Be careful not to break the lamp
cover in the process.
In the refrigerator comp. put a
finger in the groove shown in the
picture and push the lamp cover
up while pulling forward to
exchange the lamp.
Be careful not to break the lamp
cover in the process.

* The light bulb is not covered by our warranty.
The electrical plug must be accessible without moving the set.
Changing the internal light bulb.
Disconnect the refrigerator from the main supply by removing the plug.
Replace the bulb with one of the correct type and size (15Watt SES E14 Base).

CLEANING YOUR REFRIGERATOR
¥ When cleaning your
refrigerator, unplug the
power cord and use a soft
cloth and dishwashing liquid
to clean.
¥ The refrigerator can smell on
its initial operation, but the
odour will go away when the
refrigerator is cooled
sufficiently.
¥ Use a soft cloth for cleaning
the interior and exterior of
the refrigerator.
¥ Do not splash water directly
on the refrigerator itself.
¥ Put the parts back to their
original positions.

BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE
When the food in the
refrigerator
compartment is frozen.
When the refrigerator
does not refrigerate at

¥ Set the dial to Normal.

turned on.
¥ Check the installation
place.
¥ Check the condition of
stored food.
¥ Check the position of
the temp. control dial.
¥ Check the installation.
¥ Contact service.
¥ Wipe with a dry cloth to
remove condensation.
¥ Keep the door closed to
prevent condensation.
¥ Contact service.
¥ When the surrounding temp. continues
below 5°C in winter-this can occur even at
Normal SET.
¥ Where there is a power connection or failure
problem.
¥ When the installation floor is weak or the
adjustable feet set incorrectly.
¥ When the refrigerator touches the back wall.
¥ High-moisture in the air can produce
condensation.
¥ When the refrigerator door is opened too
frequently or left open long.
¥ When damp food is stored.
The following are not malfunctions
¥ Water-flowing sound can be heard when the compressor stops.
This is a sound of REFRIGERANT flowing.
¥ You can feel warmth by putting you hand on the refrigerator’s front. This is not a defect but a
moisture preventing device installed on the refrigerator.
¥ When the refrigerator is in sunlight or near a
heating device.
¥ When the refrigerator contains hot food or
too much food.
¥ When the refrigerator door is opened too
frequently or left open long.
¥ When the temp. dial is not on the correct
position.
¥ When the cooler vent is clogged.
