Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT: Read these installation Instructions and the furnace Installation Instructions
carefully before beginning the installation.
For *TE Furnaces
DISCONNECTING ADD-ON BOARD (See
Figure 1)
1. Remove the wires and connector from the old board
and place on the new board as removed.
2. Remove two screws from left side of control board
mounting panel. Note: Wires are long enough to
allow removal of mounting panel.
3. Disassemble control panel from the panel bracket.
4. Remove the Add-On board from the control panel by
squeezing mounting studs with pliers on the panel
rear. Note: Use care to apply pressure only at mount
studs.
5. Install new board and the control mounting panel
board on the panel bracket on furnace.
COMPLETING THE REWIRING
1. Select the desired time on the board ( 5 or 10 minutes).
2. Turn on all electrical power and fuel supply to the
unit.
3. Turn the gas valve to “ON” position
4. Set the thermostat above room temperature to begin
the heating cycle.
5. Run the furnace a couple of cycles to insure proper
operation.
Replacement Kit – Add-On Integrated Control
GENERAL:
These instructions are primarily intended to assist
qualified individual who has good knowledge and
experience in wiring and installation of gas furnaces.
These instructions show you how to replace the Add-On
integrated control . Some local codes require licensed
installation/service personnel for installation of this type
of equipment.

WARNING!
The wiring must be performed by a qualified
service technician in accordance with these
instructions and all codes having jurisdiction.
Failure to follow these instructions could result
in series injury, property damage, or death.
The qualified service technician performing
this work assumes responsibility for rewiring
the add-on board.
WARNING!
Prior to rewiring, turn off all electrical power to
the unit. Turn gas valve to the "OFF" position,
and shut off the fuel supply to the furnace.

FAULT CONDITION
NOTES:
1. Use copper conductors only.
2. If any of the original wire as supplied with the furnace must be
replaced, it must be replaced with wiring material having a
temperature rating of at least 105° C.
3. Refer to the Installation Instructions provided with the furnace
for the appropriate heating and cooling speed settings for
your application.
4. Ensure that wires from the blower remain connected to the board
thermostat terminals after making the field thermostat connections.
