1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethe
bladecontrolswitch.
2.Movethemotioncontrolleversoutwardtotheneutral
lockposition,stoptheengine,removethekeyand
waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Installtheengineguardtotheframebehindtheengine
(Figure1).Aligntheholesinthetabsontheguardwith
theexistingholesintherearframe.
4.Securetheguardtotheframewithfourselftapping
screws(5/16x3/4inch)asshowninFigure1.
5.Cleanthedecalareaandmakesuretheareaisfreeof
dirt,grease,orotherforeignmaterial.Installthedecal
tothecenteroftheguardasshowninFigure1.
